“Great experience at Hyatt regency resort kuantan”

Amazing view, helpful n friendly staffs, good services. I brought my kids, they were happy with the pool n beach. the weather is windy but very hot n dry, please wear sunscreen. Overall, its really worth it to stay here. We really enjoyed it! Definitely Will come again.

Stayed for 1 night during the weekend. Location: right by the Teluk Cempedak beach, not too far from the city centre Parking: is a nightmare. During weekend the hotel was super busy! Can imagine the parking was very difficult for us. They have 2 lots at the hotel but both are full during our visit. We opt to park by the roadside instead. Room: They have 3 blocks and we were located at the last block. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It has all the amenities you expected. Although it is very busy, the housekeeping manage the guest request very well. Service: We started in a not so good start. Upon check in, the FO informed me that we wont be getting the room we requested and paid for. Upon negotiating, the staff managed to find the rooms as per what we have paid for in the same block. The twist was that only 1 room is ready and the other is in the midst of cleaning. Kudos to the ambassador Izzati for helping me out. She help to expedite the process and keep me updated. What supposedly be an hour of waiting, becomes 20 minutes. Food: we opt for the breakfast for both rooms. And my goodness it was so very good!!!! It was what I expected from Hyatt and they do deliver! The nasi kerabu is to die for. Escape long lines by being there early. Pool/beach: Beach was private and clean. There are 2 pools in the resort , we only use one of them. Not too crowded when we went which was pleasant.

Great location, golf, beach and local food. Room nicely decorated, pool view plus breathtaking sea view. Staff attentive and pleasant.

TC beach is beautiful, and clean too. The hotel location is pretty good for a family stay as the public square next door has a few family friendly food options. TC beach is beautiful, and clean too. The hotel location is pretty good for a family stay as the public square next door has a few family friendly food options. As always, Malaysia misses the mark in terms of maximising the tourist potential. Perhaps this is subjective. Hotel is fairly well kept, kind and helpful staff. Had an unexpectedly delicious chicken Caesar salad for lunch. Breakfast is geared more towards local taste and was fairly well attended to. Plates cleared and food replenished. We ate out the rest of the time. The hotel is pretty big although it doesn’t feel crowded. Mostly Asian and Muslim tourists as far as I could see. The 4 of us shared a family room. Garden view but good sized although had an oddly large table taking up a lot of floor space when the sofa bed was out. The sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Housekeeping was hit and miss. We were out all day but at 5pm, our room sti hadn’t been cleaned. I had to ask for handwash in the pool washrooms to be refilled as there was none for over two days. I had a massage (Precila, excellent) and enjoyed it. We played padel as well, court was well kept but it was very humid. Two main pools, one strangely murky. Pool loungers were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever encountered. Impossible to relax on, hard with no mat. As they’re so uncomfortable, there was usually a lounger free. Malaysians tend to be by the pool in the morning and in the evening avoiding any sun. The beach lounger were few and far between, some with soft mats, some just hard wood. Lots of itchy sea lice in the sea and no lifeguard. The sea in July was pretty calm though. There’s no lounger service and no one cleans up by the pool during the day. Overall I’d say this is a value for money hotel, but it could be so much better.
