We were a family of five, including two adults, two elderly family members, and a 4-year-old boy, and stayed at the hotel for two nights. We booked a two-bedroom sea-view suite, and the experience was wonderful. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained. Every evening, the housekeeping staff visited our suite to burn incense and aromatic oils, creating a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere after a day in the hot sun. This thoughtful touch was greatly appreciated. We had dinner at the hotel's café, where the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would especially like to express my appreciation to the duty manager at the restaurant on the evening of 30 July 2026. His attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We also had breakfast at the same venue. There was a good variety of food, and the selection was more than adequate. However, I would recommend avoiding peak hours, which seemed to begin around 9:00 a.m., for a more comfortable dining experience. The children's swimming pool was excellent and perfectly sized for young kids, with enough facilities and activities to keep our son entertained. There is also a beach adjacent to the hotel, which was clean and well maintained, providing another great option for family recreation. One thing worth noting is the hotel's location on the quieter side of Penang Island. It is approximately a 45 to 50-minute drive from both George Town and Penang International Airport. If you travel directly from the airport to the hotel, the route passes through a number of winding hill roads, which may easily cause motion sickness, especially for children or elderly passengers. We found that traveling via George Town is more comfortable, as much of the journey follows the coastline and offers a smoother ride with pleasant sea views. The only downsides we noticed were that we frequently found ants in the pantry area of our suite, and the corridor in the residential wing was rather dark during the daytime due to insufficient lighting. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Angsana Teluk Bahang. The rooms are modern, spacious and offer beautiful sea views, while the infinity pool and beach create a relaxing atmosphere. The evening fire show and fireworks were a nice surprise and added to the overall experience. The resort is located away from George Town, so keep in mind that with traffic it can easily take 45–50 minutes to reach the city. Fortunately, using Grab was very easy and affordable throughout our stay. A few minor points to be aware of: even on a high floor, we could still hear some traffic noise from the road. Also, be careful when eating on the balcony, as the local birds are very bold and will quickly try to steal your food. Overall, we would definitely recommend the resort for anyone looking for a relaxing beach stay in Penang.

We had an amazing stay at Angsana Teluk Bahang Penang. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful sea view. The infinity pool, beach access, and breakfast buffet were all excellent, making it a perfect getaway for families. The resort has great facilities for both adults and children, especially the Rangers’ Kids Club. The highlight of our stay was definitely the Kids Club. A very special thank you to Kak Salami for taking such wonderful care of the kids. She was incredibly warm, patient, and full of energy. Her kindness and enthusiasm made our child feel comfortable immediately, and the fun activities kept them entertained throughout the day. It’s staff like Kak Salmi who make the experience truly memorable. Thank you, Angsana Teluk Bahang, for the wonderful hospitality. We will definitely return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing family holiday in Penang.
