The best hotel in Langkawi without a doubt. The staff are so kind and very helpful. It's also kids friendly hotel. A special thank you to Saifuddin at the restaurant, it was our last night and my wife was craving for the local dessert (Ais kacang) which was not available on that night, he made sure to go out of his way and got us the dessert. It was very kind of him and that what I call going extra mile. Your trip is not complete in Langkawi if you haven't visited Berjaya. Thank you to the management and the entire staff members for making my visit memorable.

I recently stayed at Berjaya Langkawi Resort and had a generally pleasant experience, though there are some areas that need improvement. Positives: The location is amazing—perfect for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. The shuttle service between the rooms and reception lobby is excellent, operating 24/7 with minimal waiting time, even late at night. The complimentary minibar was a nice touch, including beers, soft drinks, and snacks. The private beach is beautiful, and the 3 PM evening snacks were enjoyable. Breakfast was good overall, and the live cooking counter staff were active, friendly, and helpful. In particular, one of the Indian counter staff (I unfortunately did not catch his name) was extremely kind and helpful, which made a great impression. Areas for Improvement: Reception service could be more friendly and better in communication. A few incidents stood out: • On one day, I requested evening housekeeping instead of morning, but the message was not passed correctly, and housekeeping came as usual in the morning. • When requesting bathrobes, there was confusion, and the response from reception felt a bit rude instead of accommodating. • On checkout day, I asked for help with luggage from the room. The staff focused only on sending a shuttle rather than arranging someone to assist, and communication could have been clearer and more courteous. The lobby staff handling the shuttle were not very proactive in helping with luggage, which is below expectations for a 5-star resort. However, the shuttle drivers were very kind and friendly. At breakfast, while the food was good, the cleaning staff were quite slow, and at times we had to clear our own plates. Overall: A beautiful resort with great amenities and location. With improvements in reception service and staff responsiveness, the experience could be much better.

Langkawi is stunningly beautiful and the hotel has a gorgeous beach. We so enjoyed swimming in the sea courtesy of the jellyfish net. Langkawi is stunningly beautiful and the hotel has a gorgeous beach. We so enjoyed swimming in the sea courtesy of the jellyfish net. The resort is huge - I was v glad I requested to stay close to reception and they kindly honoured this request. The staff are very friendly - service can be slow and not always efficient however. The pool towel hut ran out of towels and the Dayung ran out of menus….these kind of issues are very annoying. Management were very apologetic. The food was largely v tasty. The views at the Beach Brasserie and Thai restaurant are lovely. My massage at the spa was excellent. The wait for a buggy was usually quite brief. There is certainly some wear and tear at the hotel but it didn’t bother us and we feel it’s reflected in the price point. House keeping was great and thorough. Wifi needs to be improved…was pretty patchy. Overall we had a great stay.
