We got 1 villa where located the most top of the property, basically the view was spectacular! But in the villa really need improvements in terms of the toilet (leak and the door are starting to rotting which everytime one of us getting shower some of the wood are rotting out from the wood). But the rest was okay. Breakfast are simple but enough to fill our stomach.

“Nice place and nice view”

If have good wheather from here we can see the view of mountain kinabalu perfectly. Nice room and breakfast also delicious. Just around corner near the town kundasang.. If you come early you may go to the poring hot water at ranau or desa cattle farm. Just 10 minutes from this lodge.

Late review for 2 night stay end may early June 2017. My Friend and I were absent-minded enough to have forgotten to collect our luggages at the foot office of Mount Kinabalu (probably due to exhaustion haha) before checking in at Nabalu. We were immensely grateful to the receptionist Fadzilah and the shift manager Amy who went out of their way to make arrangements for us to travel back to Mount Kinabalu to collect out baggages at nightfall. Amy also extended her hospitality to take us to a nearby attractions to visit and pick us up after. We had booked a basic room where amenities are pretty basic but I give a thumbs up for hospitality. However,on a separate note,do put special attention to lock your balcony doors before sleep/heading out to keep out potential intruders as we thought there might have been attempts at night that were unsuccessful.

We revisited the property because of the location just a week apart. First time the price was rm100, then a week after that rm135 including breakfast. We revisited the property because of the location just a week apart. First time the price was rm100, then a week after that rm135 including breakfast. They do not have option to exclude the breakfast. When I inquired about the breakfast, the front desk showed me their menu with wide range of breakfast but the next morning, we were given a coupon to tick one of 5 choices, 2 of which were not available. Choices were bad, food was bad, all in all - rm35 breakfast for 2 was not worth it. You could find a better tasting options in the town which is just a walking distance. They will ask for deposit. First time, the deposit was rm50, then they increased it to rm100 a week later. So, I am not sure how long this review will stand correct when it comes to the amount of deposit they actually required. Telephone was not working (which they change for us), TV was not working (which they couldn't do much because they haven't applied for Astro), room slightly dusty, flooring makes sound when you walk, so you might need to tiptoe if someone is sleeping, the garden table at the balcony could be hazardous simply because they failed to adhere to the law of physics, and when you thought it couldn't go worse, the next day we had a very noisy guests with kids running and shouting as early as 6am in the morning. Apart of the location, I don't think I would rate this property as good value for the money.

“Nice environment”

The room comes with a porch which is nice. Not much of views from the room or porch though. The tv channel is limited and is with a lot of noise. The water heater is not even warm. The staffs is friendly and their restaurant food is nice.
