This time our stay extended to more than a week with quite a few changes in our itinerary. The front office and reservations team accommodated all changes with the utmost efficiency. Karrie from reservations and Brodie and his magic front office team were most helpful. All guest encounters across all departments were always happy moments of magic: Siti and Ethan greeting us at the door, Farah, Bong, Ivan, Steve and all the others at front office being super courteous. We dined in all outlets and Helen and Haidir looked after us very well in the Chinese restaurant, so did Wahadi and Puan Mastura in the coffee shop. Sheila and Alessi did a great job in the Executive Lounge. Harith sent us off to the airport. Hilton Kuching is the only real 5 star hotel in Kuching that is true to its brand and always lives up to its standards. Congratulations to Adrian and his team for creating such a fantastic service culture. It is very rare to find a hotel that consistently provides such personalised and efficient service.

“Great location, great swimming pool”

The location is absolutely perfect - ideal for walking along the river, or into the town centre. The swimming pool area is relaxing and clean, with an attractive pool bar and fluffy towels. The location is absolutely perfect - ideal for walking along the river, or into the town centre. The swimming pool area is relaxing and clean, with an attractive pool bar and fluffy towels. Breakfast is very good indeed - although perhaps it needs 2 people manning the eggs/pancakes stand, as it can get busy. Our room was spacious with a large TV, and extensive window overlooking the river - perfect for watching the evening lights and firework displays from the pedestrian bridge. If I have one complaint (and it is very small) is that having used the pool every day, there is absolutely nowhere in the room to dry the swimming costumes, not even the built-in line across the shower. This meant climbing into damp swimmers every time - quite refreshing !

“Kuching over the Raya break”

I stayed at hilton kuching from the 20th-22nd march .2026 with my entire family. We booked a total of 3 rooms a single king for myself, my wife and baby and 2 twin bedrooms which housed my dad and younger brother as well as my mum and younger sister. As there was only 1 flight which was a late night flight from sinngapore to kuching arrival around late night 9plus pm, we only arrived at rhe hotel around 10pm on 20th march.we were the only guests checking in at that time. I was a bit surprised that seeing that we were a family the guest concierge actually assigned 3 different levels of rooms for us. I was on rhe 2nd floor and my family were on 3rd floor and 8th floor respectively. Its not very nice to split and entire family like such arrangement especially since I was the one checking in and had already informed we were on a family trip over the hari raya period. The king bedroom assigned to me was nothing to shout about. It had the view of the backlane road and was almost eye level. Not too sure about the hotel occupancy but I wished more detail was put into room assignment. The staff was friendly and whenever we needed any housekeeping request they would oblige ie more pillows for my wife and top up of water for boiling as I was travelling with a 2 year old. Our flight back to Singapore was a late one as well when I requested for a late checkout was given max 3pm on the 22nd March. Felt more could have been done as technically only 1 flight in and out of kuching and we already wasted half a hotel day checking in late like 10pm due to flight constraints.
