I stayed at Hilton Shah Alam Glenmarie from 25–26 June for one night, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. A special thanks to the Duty Manager, Hotma, at the reception. He was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and had a great sense of humor, which made the check-in experience enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade with a beautiful golf course view. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The housekeeping team did an excellent job in ensuring everything was spotless. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food, which I really enjoyed. However, the service from some of the restaurant staff during breakfast could be improved, as they were not very friendly or welcoming. One area that also needs improvement is the response to guest requests. I called at night to request extra coffee amenities, but no one answered. I then submitted the request through the app, but unfortunately, there was no response until the following morning when the items were finally delivered. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay, especially because of the complimentary room upgrade and the comfort of the room. That positive experience made it easier to overlook the other shortcomings. Thank you, Hilton Glenmarie Shah Alam. I look forward to staying again and hope to see improvements in guest service during my next visit.

This is a hard review as I am a committed HH member. This property is very new, only opened in March 2026. It was formerly a budget hotel so keep that in mind. This property is still learning and growing. However it is a huge beautiful “resort-like” property. Several pools, large golf course with all of amenities, executive lounge, kiddie pools, great gym (off hotel property), restaurants and 1 lobby bar. Down side is the property if very remote with no convenience stores. You must bring any snacks, soda or treats with you. Two huge concerns were air conditioning. No matter what, the AC will not go below 23 in the rooms (many guests complained about the AC). Breakfast buffet was also problematic, as the food was not at the correct temperature to be safe. Hot foods were cold or room temperature with cross contamination due to lack of serving utensils. The executive lounge was awesome. The best thing at this hotel is the staff. Yaso & Jadgasen at front desk are the best. Ravi & Jervin ran the executive lounge with excellence!!! Shayfiq & Zaqwan made breakfast special. Mehedi awesome work on housekeeping. I attempted to speak with the GM, Linda Reddy, but our schedules did not connect. Overall the staff made it a pleasant experience. In time, I think this property can become a true gem for Malaysia. I will return next year & update.
