Just wrapped up an incredible stay at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional hospitality! From the very beginning, Duty Manager Zulrisham went above and beyond by helping sort out my reservation that helped me for my visa process just in time, true lifesavers! From there, the warm welcome from the doormen, the seamless check-in, and being upgraded to a gorgeous family room with the best view set the tone for an amazing trip. Highlights of our stay: Genuine human connection: Every team member—from the attentive room attendants to the friendly restaurant staff—made us feel right at home. Lobby vibes: Starting the morning with live piano music in the lobby was such a delightful touch. Club Lounge: Unwinding with the incredible city views at the InterContinental Club Lounge was pure perfection. Relaxing pool area: Great facilities and service to recharge. True luxury is found in genuine service, and this team truly embodies inspiring hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

“Family of 6 visiting KL for the first time (great city, great hotel, great people)”

We stayed at the hotel 4 days being a family of 6 with kids at 4, 5, 8, 11. It was our first visit in KL. Hotel had a good location easy to get around. We stayed at the hotel 4 days being a family of 6 with kids at 4, 5, 8, 11. It was our first visit in KL. Hotel had a good location easy to get around. Rooms were nice and we had connecting rooms allowing for the family to be together. We also had access to the club lounge which was a very nice add on and good value for money. Service and hospitality level at the hotel was super nice and they really made us and the kids feel welcomed. At the lounge there was a guy called Abdul who was very nice and really did something extra to make us feel at home.

“Stylish, impressive lobby, good service, decent location”

Hotel is well located for petronas towers and KLCC mall and park a short walk away. Hotel is well located for petronas towers and KLCC mall and park a short walk away. They do have a one-way shuttle bus that gies to petronas towers and also pavillion mall which is high end, bright lights but also has high street brands, and the famous Uncle Roger's restaurant as well as many other high and budget level food options. There is also a business orientated shuttle drops off to key business areas if you are staying for work (see photo). Everywhere else you may need to go is easily accessible by v good value Grab app taxis, similar to uber. Impressive lobby, decent breakfast buffet although no option for poached eggs, there is roti canal station, egg station (fried, scrambled, omelette) plus noodles/chinese and Indian selection. Also have pancakes and waffles and fruit selection. We had breakfast included in rate otherwise it was quite pricy at around 70MR per adult. Concierge v helpful and service generally positive, most staff demonstrate classic high standards of Malaysian hospitality. Door staff in lobby had v smart uniforms with nod to Malaysian traditions and all were very helpful. Family room had enormous parents' bed which could have slept 4 slim people comfortably and we had separate small double for kids to share. We were dismayed when informed of power cut for several hours to allow for maintenance on our first day as even lifts and lights were out of action. Appreciate this must have been necessary but was not ideal start to our trip. They have spa offering usual massage and facials but also have specialist salon offering advanced facial and body treatments. Gym is conveniently located near spa and pool so we used it more often than other hotels when a gym is tucked away miles from anything else. Gym was well equipped with range of cardio and weights and generally v quiet which we appreciated as well as 24/7 access with room key card. Pool area was pleasant with loungers and separate jacuzzi and towels provided at pool area. Due to location and being shaded by the hotel itself as well as neighbouring buildings, it seemed to get zero sun so even in late afternoon the water was pretty cold, too cold for anyone but a few kids to swim in. We picked this hotel because it had a pool so not ideal that we couldn't comfortably use it. We used the surau or prayer room. V tastefully decorated with Moroccan style lanterns at entrance and room itself had everything you could need with dedicated washing area and smart dressing table area with seating and a selection of hijabs and cover ups to use if needed. Nearby walking distance to 7 eleven style shops plus dining options. Water was provided free in rooms but with a coke can style peel off lid so you could only consume in room or use to fill separate water bottle if you had one with you. Overall very stylish and comfortable hotel and would happily stay here again if visiting KL whether with family or for work.

Really like this hotel, though it is maybe not the most fancy 5 star in KL. It is a good value for money. Really like this hotel, though it is maybe not the most fancy 5 star in KL. It is a good value for money. Staff is fantastic, breakfast is good, pool area and gym are excellent, rooms are big and the beds are big and bedding is super comfy. It is near Petronas and if you are going around KL you are well set up just to take Grab or to walk to areas like Bukit Bintang.
