The location is excellent if one likes to eat! The street market is just few minutes away and offers you not just food but a vibe all of its own. The hotel is also walking distance to several malls as well as the hop on hop off bus service. The lack of breakfast or room service was the only minus point for me. But that is my fault for not taking that into account. Housekeeping was very good and Dalower who cleaned my area was cheerful and did a very good job. Coffee and tea offered complimentary in morning hours in reception was helpful. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner.

Stayed as a family of 3 for 4 nights in an entourage room. Chose this hotel and room specifically for the bedding arrangement. The loft can be unpractical for those who may need to use the bathroom at night. The long curtains are difficult to manage so despite being blackout, it is near impossible to cover the window, hence morning light will wake you. Minimal clothes hanging space. The hotel seems very environmentally focused. No water bottles are provided, instead, a jug is given to fill at water dispensers on 3 levels. However, minimal space to hang your towel for re-use. The biggest issue was the 3-in-1 body soap-shampoo-conditioner…which did none of the 3 tasks well. We were forced to go buy shampoo and conditioner. The AC might need servicing. Despite having both units on, set to 16C, the room never got cold, and some nights we felt uncomfortably warm. No breakfast or dining option in the hotel, so you must venture out, which early, or on a Sunday, you have very limited choices nearby. Getting food delivery in could be an option, but there is no table, chairs etc for comfortable eating. The location is mostly good. Walking distance to many malls, bars, restaurants, but in a smaller side-street so minimal noise.

We stayed two nights in a basic room. Room was clean but quite small and without a cupboard. We were hardly in the room so it was fine but do consider a bigger room for a more enjoyable stay. Location is as advertised - good if you wish to be in that area. The staff were very polite and helpful. They have a jug in the room for water which we had to fill ourselves from the reception- very environmentally friendly but it is not a large jug so also carry water bottles which you can fill up. Overall we had a satisfactory stay - didnt get to try any facilities unfortunately:)

I’ll divide my review into sections, starting with the room. 1. Room: The room is adequate—not too small, not particularly large either, but comfortable enough to open one large suitcase or even two. The bed and pillows are comfortable, and I appreciated the thick blackout curtain. The bathroom is also a decent size, with good water pressure and, yes, the famous rainbow shower light is there LOL. There’s no smart TV, so no Netflix during your stay. The hotel also doesn’t provide a mini fridge or bottled water in the room, but there’s a water dispenser available on the M Level. Cleanliness is generally good inside the room, although the elevators could use a bit more attention. 2. Location:
One of the hotel’s biggest strengths is its location. It’s within walking distance of the main Bukit Bintang intersection, making it convenient for both the Monorail and MRT. Alor Street is also very close, with a small alleyway that gives you quick access. Plenty of food options nearby too, especially Indian, Middle Eastern, and a few Nasi Kandar spots. The only downside for me is the downhill walk on the way back from the main street. My legs definitely noticed it LOL. 3. Neighbourhood
: This is probably the most subjective part of my review. The area is lively, busy, and active well into the evening, with plenty of cafés, bars, eateries, and people around at most hours. If you enjoy an energetic city atmosphere, you'll probably like it. Personally, I tend to prefer quieter and less crowded neighbourhood, so the constant activity and street buzz weren’t entirely my thing. It’s not a negative—just a matter of personal preference and something I wish I had known beforehand. Overall, MOV Hotel offers good value for money, so whether it’s the right choice really depends on what kind of Kuala Lumpur experience you’re looking for.
