Been a heavy traveller to the nearby area and this is the first time I stayed at smile hotel. Despite the price, the hotel/room turned out to be better than expectation. Room was clean and they helped me to clean up the room everyday. There was sufficient pillow in the room, quite spacious for the price tag and they offer in house movie channels. Some may say the parking is a hassle; however, to me, if you want to park in front of the hotel, you should be back to hotel before 7pm. Anyway, I parked my car behind the hotel which is an open view to petrol station hence it will not be as bad as parking somewhere further from hotel. Throughout my stay, I've ordered fast food deliveries, the Security Guard was helpful to deliver the sauce I forgotten at lobby to my room personally. A nice gesture and I was surprised. Another small gesture which I appreciate was the supply of complimentary drinking water; the hotel will insist on the refill on daily basis even when I am yet to finish; therefore within my one week stay, I never need to request for drinking water; plus, you can make use of the water dispenser nearby the room. This practice is different from other hotel with cost reduction and as long as you didn't finish your drinking water, they won't refill for you. The hotel also offers discount for members and not limited to room type. In a nutshell: Pros: Clean Spacious Cozy environment Friendly staff Cons: Depends on the room location, some may feel hot in the afternoon Walls between room are less noise absorbent, if your neighbor is making noise, most likely you will hear it, especially when they slam the door I will definitely come back for the hotel and it's highly recommended. P/S:if you are not sure about the room, perhaps ask for a viewing before check in. For me, I'll remember the room number for my next visit as I loved it :)

“Just another budget hotel”

A quick review : Good one : ~ easy to find ~ very near to Hospital Selayang (our purpose) ~ cheap ( as usual for budget hotel) ~ some food outlet nearby within walking distance Bad one : ~ no lift ( if you are in 2nd floor with big luggage will cause you trouble) ~ very noisy with lorries coming … more

“Very clean but no-no room in the middle of building”

Room is very clean. Bed is really nice. Toilet is good too and shower run very well. But the only problem was our room is in the middle of building. Which mean, no window. Room is very clean. Bed is really nice. Toilet is good too and shower run very well. But the only problem was our room is in the middle of building. Which mean, no window. Unexpectedly, the air cond didn't work well. Night time, we sweat like jogging. Parking is ample. Best to choose in front of lobby as the area is very dark. Not much choice of restaurant. Ok for fast business trip travellar. Choose room has window instead.
