A Flawless Family Stay with Exceptional Care Our recent family stay at The Majestic Hotel was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the hotel’s famous hospitality was on full display. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, turning what could have been a stressful family trip into a seamless, relaxing vacation. Stellar Service & Hospitality The true heart of this hotel is its incredible team. We owe a massive thank you to Inis, Hui Lee, and Yue Jye for their outstanding assistance. They were absolute lifesavers when we had to make a last-minute adjustment to our accommodation to include our children. Instead of any hassle, they handled the surprise update with ultimate professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. Their care made us feel incredibly valued as guests. The surprise decoration for my wife for her birthday was heart warming. Immaculate Housekeeping The housekeeping standards here are top-tier. Our family room was kept spotlessly clean, fresh, and perfectly organized throughout our entire stay. Coming back each day to a pristine room and replenished amenities made our downtime so much more comfortable. A Breakfast Buffet Worth Waking Up For The morning breakfast buffet was a daily highlight for both the adults and the kids. The variety is immense, offering everything from perfectly executed local delicacies to excellent international stations. Every dish tasted fresh, and the live cooking stations added a wonderful touch to the vibrant dining atmosphere. For families looking for a blend of luxury, comfort, and genuinely compassionate service, The Majestic Hotel is an absolute must-visit. We cannot wait to return! A Miracle Practised daily by the Maintenance Team Id like to include a special thanks to the maintenance team. We visited the hotel 7 years back for our anniversary, it has not changed one bit. Their dedication is shown when we left on a 13th July, Mon, they were up in arms maintaning the roofing of the drop off point. Safety and proper execution were shown in their standard of work which includes proper passageway for guests to navigate around the worksite. And this kind of professionalism is reflected in the rooms. There's no sewage smells in the toilet, not one appliance shows signs of wear. Kudos to the maintenance team.

Beautiful hotel in the station area of KL. Staff were very kind and attentive. Room was faultless apart from missing info re room service (but other reviews did not rate the room service as good). We arrived late and could not really get an option for food. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Visit for the experience of an old colonial hotel, enjoy the live music in the bar, and take advantage of the 12.00 noon checkout.

Orchid Room High Tea The Majestic Hotel is stunning. Built in 1932. The Colonial Cafe has several room hosting high tea. The Orchid room only holds around 20 and must be pre booked. We booked about 4 weeks in advance. Confirmation does not arrive until 7 days prior and full payment must be made. Stunning room. The most beautiful orchids I have ever seen. Each and everyone was perfect. I was surprised the room was not full. We were the first couple to arrive at 3pm. Another couple around 30 minutes later. And another booking for 9 at 4pm. The food was perfectly presented with a hot selection of 3 items each. Mushroom chicken pie, quiche and tuna in a profiterole roll. Standard ribbon sandwiches. Curried egg, cucumber, chicken & smoked salmon. All very nice. Plain and fruit scones one each with the best clotted cream ever and strawberry jam. Sweets 4 pieces each. Banana with crystal banana in the Center, chocolate layer (like a fudge) strawberry mousse filled will compressed strawberry jelly and a coconut parfait on a butter biscuit. All very nice. Endless tea served with a tea warmer. Lovely China wear. I noted the China was different in each room. Service as expected was amazing. My only big criticism was how cold it was inside. So cold they offered me a Pashmina to wear. Which came in a sealed bag and it helped. Understanding the Orchids need the environment to stay so pristine. But I felt I had wanted to eat and run to get away from the cold. 🥶. If I returned it would be to go in one of the other dining rooms. The main room had a piano player. Our room missed the ambiance, music was playing very low in the background. The noise of the cooling blocked it. Overall it was a nice afternoon, but not a fabulous afternoon. Way too cold. I think they should advise that prior booking.

On arrival and checking in the staff were strongly pushing us to pay for an upgrade and make one of the rooms a twin room. Multiple times I said that I do not want to pay for an upgrade and I want to keep the rooms I booked. Finally I had to be very assertive saying ‘Please can I have the rooms I booked’. Rooms were lovely and facilities were lovely. My husband was in a business call so went to the Colonial Cafe for dinner. Took a while to find it - signposting in the hotel is not good! I had to ask several times for the waiter to bring me the drinks menu - it was very strange! On our second morning there we decided to have breakfast in the hotel. I asked for a table and gave our room - on our way to the table the lady concierge ran after us and in a loud voice said ‘Mam - you need to pay for your breakfasts’. I said I was fully aware of this. Just all round strange and uncomfortable. Also bad location beside a major road. Finally in this century believe it or not - that have a gentleman’s club! A male only club disguised as the ‘Smoke Room’. I am surprised Marriott allows this.
