Great price, nice people, wonderful place, i think people searching for a budget vacation above their expectation can check in at Villaosoleil, the owner is a really nice and helpful person. I recommend Villaosoleil 200%.

Good value accommodations, not on the beach but near a shopping mall that includes a well-stocked super market. With Villa O’Soleil’s apartment kitchen and the nearby supermarket (or restaurants), all your food needs will be in hand. My only complaints were the WiFi and bed mattress. The WiFi always worked — my Room 204 was nearest to the transmitter and I was shown how to reboot the transmitter if I needed to — but the signal was not robust and page up- and down-loads were often frustratingly slow. Much of the time only one webpage could be open. Sometimes even a simple text email could not be loaded. This may be common to Mauritius, I am unsure since this is the only WiFi I used on Mauritius and ‘island WiFi’ is often slower than WiFi on the continent. But it is important to complete all time-critical and heavy data tasks before arriving. I found the bed mattress too stiff for comfort or a good night’s sleep. That said I would still lodge in Villa O’Soleil again.

We stayed here for 2nights. Our room was clean and the facility was good enough. Especially for those who want a kitchen. And the location is great, 5mins walk to a big shopping mall. We stayed here for 2nights. Our room was clean and the facility was good enough. Especially for those who want a kitchen. And the location is great, 5mins walk to a big shopping mall. The downside is leaking water in the bathroom and cigarette smells in the room. We kept open the windows as much as possible, but once we closed, the room was full of the smell. They should prohibit smoking indoor and wash all the curtains in the room. Some people are allergic to smoke!
