This is a dated and old hotel, with a great location, a wonderful staff, and a good restaurant. The rooms are basic, but if you temper your expectations The Park Villa will meet your needs. The price of the rooms, at less that $2,000.00 (about $100.00 USD) per night make The Park Villa an excellent value. This well run, moderate hotel evolved into the Green Park hotel. Enjoy the garden restaurant for a refreshing change.

“Hotel a little dated but lovely peaceful location, nice garden and great staff.”

This is an older style hotel which is reflected in it rooms.so don't expect bright new modern fittings. This is an older style hotel which is reflected in it rooms.so don't expect bright new modern fittings. Our room was quite dark, the carpet was worn, the bathroom & toilet small but functional and there was only one socket, which in this electronic age is a little tricky. We did view other rooms and they were larger and had more Sockets. Being on the upper floor gives the opportunity to leave your door open to let in light. Unfortunately we found the bed was so hard my partner, who has back problems was unable to tolerate it and we had to relocate hotels. However, the staff were wonderful and so accomadating in trying to resolve the situation. We can't express our gratitude enough to Fabiola who dealt with the situation for us. We were sorry to have to leave, as the hotel has a beautiful garden and is in a quiet location ( very unusual for M city) but walkable to restaurants, the park and other areas. The restaurant was very good, the staff really nice. Don't let our situation put you off. If you are looking for a more traditional place to stay without all the modern stuff and don't have bad backs this is a really nice environment to relax in.

“A good place to stay with family!”

I didn't stay in the hotel but I came to have my meals there. The garden was very nice and tradiotional, food was very good. The parrots make it interesting for kids. I expect the room to be as nice as the restaurant environment.

“Cold rooms and dirty floors”

Just came back from 5 nights at this hotel with two other couples. The design of the hotel is charming and the location is excellent. Just came back from 5 nights at this hotel with two other couples. The design of the hotel is charming and the location is excellent. However, it was very, very cold in the evenings and at night, and none of the heaters worked. We were told that they cannot be repaired because the maintenance staff is on vacation! Why did they not bring in another repair person? We were freezing every night. The rooms are very, very dark, even with all the lights on. They have carpets in the rooms, which are not swept, washed or vacuumed, and are extremely dirty! The restaurant looks wonderful, however the food is mediocre. It would have been nice to get some kind of compensation for the unheated, cold rooms, even just a free margarita or an apology! Will not stay there again!
