“GREAT place”
Great place--friendly staff, accommodated a request to change the room with ease, rooms extremely clean--everything was great. Those lovely smiling people at the front desk set the tone for the whole experience. The hotel is centrally located and th back rooms are very quiet.

“A real surprise !”
I had to make a quick last minute trip to visit a friend. He had friends who recommended it, it came up in Expedia, so there I went. The lobby staff was friendly and efficient. And the room was AMAZING! Clean, well organized, and one of the best showers I've ever enjoyed in a hotel.… more

“A great comfortable location for exploring the city.”
We were at the Portobelo for 4 nights and left our car in the spacious safe underground parking at the hotel. Ubers were quick, inexpensive & a safe way to zip around the city. Our Deluxe Suite room (304) was comfortable and clean with things replenished each morning by the dedicated housekeeping… more
