“A place to sleep in Merida”
This is a very nice and modern hotel very close to the centre of Merida, rooms are big, beds are comfortable, there is a nice swimming pool and free parking and good breakfast, staff at the reception is friendly and helpful.

I chose Hotel Maria Del Carmen primarily for its location. It was close to the ADO station and pickup points for my excursions, so that made it convenient for me with regards to getting around. This hotel is close to the city center, in quite a good location. There are rooms facing the road and ones facing the pool. There is quite loud sound of machinery in the road facing rooms.
