My whole family (2+2) spent a wonderful 9 days at the Castello Risano hotel located in the beautiful Risan - Boka Bay. We had the opportunity to stay in the Dorothea penthouse (4 nights) and the Odetta family apartment (5 nights). DOROTHEA - a very spacious, comfortable, atmospherically furnished space. Two huge bedrooms with king size beds, two bathrooms (one with a shower and washing machine , the other with a bathtub). Living room (comfortable sofa, two chairs , TV with access to Netflix ) and dining room with open kitchen - table for 6 people, fridge with freezer, oven with hob and microwave and kettles and toaster, kitchenware allowing you to prepare full meals. The penthouse has two huge balconies - one with a view of Boka Bay and the other (from the bedroom) of the pool and mountains. ODETTA - a family space with comfortable two bedrooms. a large bedroom with a king size bed and a smaller one with a bunk bed - furnished stylishly and providing a comfortable stay. both bedrooms have a balcony overlooking the pool and mountains. The apartment has a bathroom with a shower and an additional separate toilet with a washing machine. Compact kitchen with a fridge - freezer and an oven with a hob and a kettle and toaster and kitchen utensils for preparing meals (a small minus for the lack of a microwave). Living room with access to the balcony (view of Boka Bay), comfortable sofa, TV with access to Netflix The hotel is surrounded by plants and trees, peace and quiet - birdsong and the sound of a cow's bell walking on the grass. Our heart was stolen by the cat - Oscar. This is a kitten that lives on the hotel grounds and is very sociable and sweet. The cat loves petting and treats. Swimming pool with clean water surrounded by sunbeds and beautiful ornamental plants. From morning to late afternoon all parts of the pool and the area around it are sunny. There is a stone grill near the pool - we didn't have the opportunity/need to use it, but it is available for guests - ready to. There are enough parking spaces - I will only point out that some of them are located on a steep slope - the entire road to the hotel is quite steep. WiFi throughout the hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend this place! Contact with the owner and housekeeper at a high level - answers and help are provided almost immediately.
