How to describe PERFECTION? Our first experience of AMAN ethos and philosophy....very very different from any other Hotel experience we had before. We stayed 4 nights in AMANJENA Marrakech for our wedding anniversary and since first until last day no words can express the feeling of perfection we had.... All is studied to the smallest detail to make guests feel unique and appreciated, at ease, "at home".... Nothing here is boasted or emphasized, but a serene tranquillity and overall peace is nonstop floating around. I wouldn't suggest this place for young party people, but rather to adults in need of quietness and relax.... All was EXCELLENT and it's impossible for us to find a single complain or mistake... From arrival welcome, to our fabulous Pavillon setting....to absolutely perfect room service to more than delicious breakfast... Afternoon tea was delicious as well as dinner in Moroccan restaurant (with very nice live traditional musicians). Spa services excellent. The service is EVER PRESENT and efficient though of a remarkable discretion and confidentiality. Guests feel pampered but never hassled. But the real fabulous proof of efficiency came the last night when we realized we had booked our return flight date wrongly! With an extraordinary and very unique proactivity and sense of service, our person of reference (Mr. Amine) who was then off duty, helped us FABULOUSLY and ultra efficiently to cancel/refunf previous flight booking and make new one, plus organizing early morning chauffeur pickup to airport and ULTRA EARLY amazing in room breakfast. Easy to reach peaks when everything goes smooth, much more difficult to sort complicated things out while calming down guests and give a beautiful end to an unforgettable stay. Last word: we understand guests leaving comments on GOOGLE is not the AMANJENA philosophy main goal...but we thought that maybe our advice will be helpful to other future guests.

My husband surprised me with this extraordinary experience for my birthday while on a trip to Morocco. It was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Aman is one of the premier luxury hotels and this experience really exemplified why they are among the very best in the world. When we arrived to the hotel, we were escorted through the beautiful grounds, past pools and opulence that pictures can’t fully capture. We arrived to our private tent where we were delighted with several courses of local delicacies and wine pairings. During dinner, there was a band of local musicians, famous in Morocco, who serenaded us with beautiful music. Once we finished eating, there was singing and dancing as we enjoyed this extraordinary experience, curated so thoughtfully as only Aman can. Truly one of the best, most special nights of my life. Would recommend to anyone looking for a special celebration while in Marrakech.

“Not Up to Aman Standards”

We stayed for 3 nights in January and found the resort to be dated and the food options awful. The complex feels like an absent dictator’s palace w/ tired, grandiose flourishes - absurdly high ceilings, massive doors and fixtures, heavy polished stone everywhere - but no charm or real thoughtfulness to the layout. There are three restaurants but most evenings only one is open. The Moroccan restaurant is just boring w/ below average couscous and tajines. The Italian is mid; like a very average Italian place you’d find in almost any European or American city. There is supposed to be a poolside dining option but that was never open. There were four hour stretches during the day when there were basically no food options open. I suspect the hotel is going to be shut down for a refit soon and that’s why the facility felt like it was just going through the motions. We’ve stayed at Aman resorts before and had great experiences. This one was a bust.
