“Chilled out and friendly”

Had a great week here, wouldn’t say it’s 5* but a lovely atmosphere, some areas look a little tired but it kept clean and the staff are super friendly. Perfect for family’s with its 2 pools, 1 heated to 30 deg + and the other a normal cool temp.

Hotel is beautiful, staff is wonderful and a great place if bringing children on a vacation. Plenty for kids to do. A big concern of ours when traveling is a well equipped gym. Hotel is beautiful, staff is wonderful and a great place if bringing children on a vacation. Plenty for kids to do. A big concern of ours when traveling is a well equipped gym. This hotel did not disappoint!!! We were so pleased with the free weights and machines! Thank you, and a shout out to the trainer on staff!! I don't recall his name, but he is fantastic!! If not traveling with kids, like us, just know you'll have lots of kids running around, but that never bothers us😊 Thank you to all the staff for a great stay!!

I recently stayed at Eden Andalou Marrakech and overall I would rate it 3/5. The hotel itself is good and has a lot of potential, but unfortunately our experience with the rooms and service was disappointing. On our first night, we were not given the correct room. We were also told that no cot was available, despite being informed at reception that one would be provided. We were moved to a different room the following day, but the issues continued. After housekeeping visited, basic items were not replenished — there was no extra water, no fresh towels, and no teacups, teabags, or milk. We specifically requested these items, but nothing was done. In the second room, the bathroom door was faulty and would lock from the inside, making it very easy for someone to get stuck. I called for assistance and was told someone would come, but no one arrived. We reported it again at reception the next morning and were assured it would be fixed, yet nothing was done. While the hotel itself is nice, the lack of attention to detail and poor follow-up on requests made our stay less enjoyable than expected.

We recently stayed in the Eden Andalou (rebranded Marriott Delta) and had a poor experience. Our flight was delayed which meant it was 2am when we arrived at the hotel. We were shown to our rooms (we had 2 booked), we followed a long path around the hotel and then through a service yard, through a security hut and were eventually shown into a house. We were given 2 rooms which looked like a 2 star Airbnb and no way reflected the photos of the hotel rooms we had seen on the website when we booked it. The rooms were freezing, there was a soaking wet towel on one of the bathroom floors. Nobody slept as we felt really unsafe as we didn’t know if we were sharing this ‘house’ with other people. We immediately reported it to reception and were told we would get new rooms in the morning. It was only in daylight as we trekked back through the service yard & crossed a local road to get to the hotel that we realised this ‘house’ was actually outside the hotel boundary and I believe it might be some sort of staff property? Reception didn’t seem to care that this had happened and offered no apology. Frustratingly, nobody seemed able to give us an explanation as to why we had been given these rooms. We were duly given 2 rooms in the main hotel so we had to repack our luggage and move it all to the new rooms. When we met with the manager we were offered a hammam treatment as compensation- this turned out to be a 30min steam room session with no massage or extras. An opportunity to redeem their bad service just served to make things worse. Also the lady working on reception on the spa shouted as me ‘where is the paper?’. I explained that the reception had booked the hammam for me to make up with the issue with our room and she barked back ‘go to reception and get the paper!’ She was extremely rude and her tone was unnecessary. Other issues we experienced were the service issues previous reviews have mentioned with staff regularly forgetting drinks etc. and also the buffet made me feel like Oliver Twist if you asked for more food on your plate- it’s not exactly five star all-inclusive. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel more like a 4 star- if you get assigned the right rooms… I am still baffled by the whole experience and would still like to understand why we had been given these rooms outside the hotel property??
