The staff here are absolutely wonderful. It’s like home from home every time we go. This is absolutely my happy place and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Having just stayed with my elderly mum, we felt safe, cared for and totally happy with our stay. Hoping to go back for my fifth day there next year! The gardens are absolutely stunning, the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the luxurious suites with their own private gardens make this truly the best holiday, to totally unwind and relax. It is excellent being able to get the free shuttle Taxi service into the centre of Marrakesh to do some shopping at the Souk , and then return to the idyllic peace of Oasis Lodges. The rooms are spacious and very clean and beds are wonderfully comfortable. The amenities are great for a family with children and equally for my mother and I. The onsite pool was not accessible this time due to renovation but having access to the beautiful Zen pool in the water park was fantastic. Despite being near a main road it feels very peaceful and the only ‘noise’ I could hear was the singing of the many beautiful birds in the gardens surrounding the villa. Love, love, love this place and very sad to leave yesterday!

“December winter break”

Hotel was lovely, it’s more of a smaller boutique hotel as opposed to a resort type and there is not much to do as we are used to be being in fast paced resorts however we visited with a 4 year old and a 2 year old and we enjoyed the quietness of the hotel, walking around surrounded by olive trees and lemon trees! The atmosphere is quiet and calm but this was welcomed for us and we didn’t mind. The breakfast buffet was limited but was fine, and we ordered some room service which was nice. There is also a fireplace in the lodges which made it feel super cosy on the December cold evenings! We had a large garden which was great for the kids to play in. All areas are clean and looked after. Small feedback for the team - the coffe and tea in the room would be better if offered more freely as opposed to chargeable when the coffee pods finish and a single tea bag daily - especially in 2 bedroom lodge where more then one person will be drinking a tea. Every member of the team we met was helpful and had great service, with a special thanks to Karima and Ibraheem on the main front desk who were extremely helpful. Karima kindly reccomended a local restaurant which was excellent. Overall we enjoyed it alot and would return.

I have found writing this review quite difficult because our experience was quite mixed. The positives: Beautiful well designed lodges and communal areas with lots of nature and privacy. Loved smell of the lemon trees. Children loved all the cats and birds! Some fantastic staff (Samir in the restaurant was a great help and a friendly face every morning). The magician entertainment was great. La Pailotte restaurant is lovely. The negatives: The welcome - we felt that the welcome was a little odd (and slow!) - quite a lot of ceremony around mint tea (which was nice) and choosing scents for your lodge - however, very little information given. We also never smelt the scents in our lodge - not that we were particularly bothered. The Pool - when we arrived we were advised that we only had access to the Zen Pool (which is lovely and heated - but we were not advised of this) which was really disappointing for the kids. We found out the main pool would be open (by chance) on our last full day and enjoyed this. Around the main pool there was lots of activities like ping pong, archery and badminton - all of which were "moveable" and we found ourselves wondering why these weren't made available to children when only the "zen pool" was open. There seemed to be nothing available by way of children's entertainment. The indoor pool is rather run down and when we attempted to go - the staff were quite surly and there was a lot of confusion about whether we could use it and we were also advised the children would have to wear swimming caps - not something enforced at any other pool. We paid a premium price and found that the lack of pools or effort to compensate for this was quite frustrating - also charging for use of coffee pods if you use more than 3 is pretty tight! We were regularly reminded if we lost our pool towels we would be charged. Overall - it is a lovely place to stay if everything is open!
