We arrived early afternoon and were shown 2 rooms to choose from, difficult to make a choice not really knowing the implications but nice to see rooms before committing. Lucy had been prepared specially for us as we were arriving after the kitchen had closed and was a indication of the standard of food for our 3 day stay - excellent. The only criticism being that dairy free was slightly lost in translation but I enjoyed the goats cheese flan that my companion was unable to eat. There was plenty else to choose from though. The site was spotless, the grounds are beautiful and we e were very lucky with the weather so when we weren’t doing yoga on the roof with a. View of the mountains we were lazing by the pool. There was tea/ coffee/ hot cold water/ juice/ dates/nuts available all day and attentive service when needed. The hammam was invigorating.

“Amazing place!”

“Great retreat location ”

We stayed here for a week of our trip to Morocco. Quiet sweet place. Françoise (the owner) is very accomodating and made us feel at home. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Only reason this didn't get a five star was because the 'manager' chap was really rude. There was always a table with hot water, bottles of water and snacks, I was about to pour a glass of water and the chap came running and told me off and said we needed to pay for ours (happy to pay had we known and we did pay) - it was apparently for the group but for the entire week there was no signage on the table to indicate this. He was also a heavy smoker and would smoke in the office which spread out to communal areas - really unpleasant and thick smoke. There was a yoga group of 20 people also staying, which was quite fun. Dinner was always delicious and fresh. Everything was made on site. Nice evening fire in the main reception - lovely and cosy. Breakfast was a buffet, 8-11am by the time we got to breakfast, the early yoga group got best pickings. If you're close to 11am the manager will tell you off in a really unpleasant manner. There is only wifi in the main building none in the rooms or other areas, but that's part of the charm - good place to unwind. Wifi isn't always stable though. Great cosy rooms and warm with the aircon/heater. We had a suite, which had great rooftop views. Main reception had a lovely rooftop sunrise for the early birds. Françoise was very helpful and when we had a transfer issue (booked ourselves), she sorted this with no trouble. Very quiet and overall really enjoyed our stay! Would stay again.

“A place to unwind. Worth a visit!”

"Difficult to beat" location.....wonderful gardens with a view of the Atlas mountains. A great pool, faultless food and a relaxed atmosphere. But the rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade. Comfortable and spotlessly clean but tired - hence the four stars rather than five.
