We have just spent 3 nights at Riad Azalia. What a great find! A simple riad in a very central location yet very peaceful and quiet inside. The plunge pool was a very welcome way to cool down and it was relaxing sitting there or on the roof terrace as a break from the medina. We had 2 rooms as we were travelling with our teenage kids. Both were very clean, comfortable and with good bathrooms. Osman, Philippa and Dania were very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely stay again if we are in Marrakesh.

Best possible location in friendly simple comfortable Riad with amazing staff. · although a simple Riad it was very clean, the staff, especially Abdhul and Najat (maybe bad spelling) were helpful and wonderful. The Riad was simple but the rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The en suites were clean, always clean towels and toiletries and the hot water although it took time was available all the time. The breakfast was exceptional with a staple of bread, jams fruit and yoghurt but with a different extra dish each day.....the location was absolutely perfect and within walking distance of all the tourist spots (a short bus ride from the Fna to the Majorelle gardens). You do not need a 5* hotel when you have everything you need here. No pool but there is one at the Riad Olivier (the Azalea is an annexe of it). If I could return I would and this is the only place I would stay. I loved it and that is why I gave it top marks for everything. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful · We would have liked to have known that we would be charged quite a lot if we paid by credit card. I would suggest this is made clear as we would have taken out dirhams over the last week to pay in cash....I can understand it though as even the banks charge at the ATM...(except bank BCI normally).

Colourful, welcoming riad in great position near Medina. The 3 extremely helpful friendly staff we met genuinely enjoyed connecting with visitors. It was a joy to talk with M. and the lovely lady who made our very generous breakfasts on the terrace roof. Everything was very clean, there was a small pool and we had a large newly tiled bathroom with a lot of light which was great.

“Friendly riad in a super location”

We’ve just returned from a short 3 night stay at Riad Azalia and our first visit to Marrakech. This is a small friendly Riad close to the main square, providing clean and comfortable accommodation. We’ve just returned from a short 3 night stay at Riad Azalia and our first visit to Marrakech. This is a small friendly Riad close to the main square, providing clean and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast is served on the lovely roof terrace, and there is always good coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, yoghurt, local bread, jams, honey, cake and fruit. They even served us a breakfast at 7 a.m. on our last morning as we had an early taxi to the airport. They can organise airport transfers through their regular drivers, which is well worth doing. We stayed in Room 3 just off the central courtyard, and despite being in the heart of a bustling city, it was really quiet. The call to prayer at the nearby mosque will wake you early, but this is all part of the experience of staying in the Medina.
