We spent 5 nights at Riad Elisa. EVERYONE who works there is friendly and kind. Lobnah, one of the managers, went out of her way multiple times to ensure we knew where to go when on foot, and always arranged transportation when necessary. She called and made several reservations. Mohammed at the restaurant always greeted us with a friendly smile and was very attentive throughout our meals. The rooms were pretty, clean and comfortable. AC worked great. Wonderful location with good restaurants within walking distance. The staff at the hammam were wonderful.

“Lovely riad”

Really lovely riad perfectly located just inside the medina. The riad itself is beautiful and peaceful. We had massages in the spa which were good. Really lovely riad perfectly located just inside the medina. The riad itself is beautiful and peaceful. We had massages in the spa which were good. The room was a good size with nice bathroom and large comfy bed. The view from the roof is fantastic. It wasn’t warm enough for the pool but I imagine in warmer months it would be wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bed was made and room tidied beautifully every day. Would highly recommend.

Disappointing Service at a Beautiful Hotel Recently, a friend and I stayed at the Riad Elisa Hotel in Marrakech, Morocco. While the hotel’s architecture and design are undeniably beautiful, the service fell far short of expectations. I had booked a three-night stay, which, according to the hotel’s policy, includes a complimentary transfer from the airport. I emailed the hotel in advance with our arrival time, but no one showed up to meet us. As a result, we had to hire a taxi, which only drops passengers at the edge of the Medina. We were left on the street with our luggage and had to find our way through the narrow alleys to the hotel on foot. When I mentioned this at check-in, the front desk staff responded dismissively, telling me that if I was unhappy, I was free to stay elsewhere. This was not the kind of hospitality I expected. In addition, I had emailed in advance to confirm that our suite would have two twin beds, and I received written confirmation that it would. However, the room we were given was not suitable for two adults, so we had to book an additional room to be comfortable. My friend was initially given a decent room for the first night, but on the second night, she was moved to a different room under the pretense of an upgrade to a suite. Unfortunately, the new room had a strong, unpleasant odor due to a sewage issue, and she had to move yet again. In total, she was moved three times during a two-night stay — an experience that left us confused and frustrated, especially since her original room was perfectly fine. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Marrakech, but sadly, our experience at Riad Elisa did not meet the standard we had hoped for. Beautiful surroundings alone are not enough to make up for poor service and disorganized management.
