Inside Riad Fabiola is beautiful stunning moroccan setting, lovely and cool from the hot weather outside. Refreshing mint tea on arrival. Friendly staff. Lovely food when ordered evening meal. Great value for money would definitely recommend to others.

My little girl and I have just returned from this gorgeous riad. Slightly off the beaten track, it is only 15 minutes walk to the main square. The staff were amazing friendly and could not be faulted in anyway. Naisa, one of the maids, was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, although at busy times, there was a wait for a table and/or breakfast. The room was clean, and not at all small. There was a slight smell, at times, from the drains but this is to be expected. No issues at all with the wifi...just a shame it is not available throughout the riad - although being 'uncontactable' is never a bad thing! Would definitely return!

Riad Fabiola is a beautiful little Riad near the hustle and bustle of the souks in the old town. The staff were incredibly friendly, who arranged our arrival and departure with a driver to ensure we made it to and from the airport without a hitch. Be wary of the location as we did receive some racial harassment by locals in the area when walking through, and didn’t feel particularly safe going out in the evenings. With the Riad itself, the only complaints we had were the incredibly small room we were given, which had very little privacy. The room was located near the stairs which we could hear every guest coming in and out of the riad, and also hear conversations for people who decided to sit next to the router for the wifi, which again made us feel rather uncomfortable in the evenings when we wanted privacy. The wifi did drop out several times and we weren’t given the passwords so we would have to ask the staff to re-input into our phones when needed. The beds I believe were two singles joined together, which made sleeping somewhat uncomfortable, the rooms were cold but there is an aircon/heating system in place which kept us warm. The communal areas were nice to relax in, in the morning and the evenings. We enjoyed the traditional breakfast served with Moroccan mint tea, however, expect a little wait when coming down for breakfast if you are on an itinerary. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for something relatively cheap and close to some of the tourist attractions and souks this makes a nice base.

Having just come from another Riad we were really disappointed with our stay at Fabiola et spa and wouldn’t really recommend it. A number of things resulted in us asking to check out and pay our bill early; firstly there was a foul smell coming from our room (first room on left when you go up to first floor), secondly there was a lot of late, loud noise until 1am, thirdly whilst the staff were lovely to us at first they were slow e.g. when we arrived they offered us tea but it never turned up whilst we waited around. Lastly, the WIFI was bad and only worked downstairs which made it difficult for us to plan our days, but this was less of a concern to us. In order to check out after one night we were told we had to pay for the full three days stay rather than just the one night we had stayed, so we ended up negotiating and getting offered a new room on the second level. We would of preferred to find a new Riad as we already knew from experience there was much better out there and much closer to town. In fairness, the new room was more spacious but we still experienced the same horrible smell (although less) - we think it comes from their air-con units. The room was also noisy with neighbours music etc playing until late. After all of this the female staff were still kind but we had clearly upset the male member of staff who went from being very friendly to cold and rude, of course making the rest of the stay uncomfortable.
