“A hidden gem of a riad!”

Beautiful hotel in the Medina on a quiet side street. Very helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, delicious breakfast, and decent wifi. A gem of a riad! We also loved the haman and massages in the spa. Would highly recommend this riad.

The Riad was a joy to stay in. Beautifully designed throughout, the rooms , roof terrace and courtyard areas are all lovely, and the bed was great. The breakfasts were plentiful a delicious and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, telling us about the city and making recommendations on places to see and how best to get around. The Hammam and massage were the cherry on the cake! The Riad is centrally located, very close to the Jmaa el-fnaa , and although just off a bustling street, once inside a calm peace reigns.

What an amazing Riad, so clean, so convenient to get to all the souks, and Jamaa el-Fnaa square in the centre of Marrakesh. The staff were unbelievably welcoming, they really couldn't do enough for you, absolutely wonderful! We had the Giena Suite for 3 people, it was so clean, there was a large double bed and a sofa bed which was so comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, the shower was powerful and lovely and hot, we had dressing gowns, slippers and there were toiletries available. A kettle, plenty of lovely flavoured tea sachets and a mini bar. The Riad cat Mimi has to be mentioned what a lovely natured cat, we loved her, my son wanted to bring her home and I have to say she did sit in the suitcase when he was packing

We've just returned from a fantastic trip to Marrakech, thanks in no small part to the staff at this riad. My friend stayed here a few months ago and recommended it, and I'm so glad he did. It's right in the Medina, and about a two minute walk from the main square (this can be 10-15 minutes if it's busy: think people, buggies, mopeds, carts, kids, all jostling through, to eat, to shop. Great fun). I'd recommend arranging ahead of time for the riad to collect you from the airport. We found our bearings once there but I think it'd have been pretty overwhelming to try on that first day with luggage. The riad itself is beautiful, peaceful and cool, though rooms have climate control so you can adjust the temperature. I did blast a bit of heat in the evening as it was still quite cool. We stayed in two rooms as they 'upgraded' us for four nights while a bigger room was empty. Other reviews have said the mattresses are hard. I'd say firm, rather than hard. Perfectly comfortable, in both rooms (Dana and Giana). Dana was much smaller but beautiful. Giana was much more comfortable as it was more spacious, but no better quality as both were wonderful. My other half thought Giana was noisier as closer to the thoroughfare but that was nothing earplugs didn't fix. You'll hear the call to prayer too but again, you don't come to Marrakech for peace and quiet. Both rooms had international television channels though the reception was hit and miss. Staff did their best to change TV boxes etc but it still cut out a few times. Again, you're not there to watch television so it was no big deal. We had the pleasure of a hammam and massage in the riad. Pretty sure I've never been cleaner or smelled better. The massage was a perfect pressure and the therapists were very professional. We ate dinner in the riad a couple of times too. They buy the ingredients fresh and the meals were as good as any of the restaurants. The stay included breakfast which was always wonderful too. Staff give great advice on what to do/not to do, speak perfect English (and I'm sure other languages too!). TLDR: I'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here, just bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. But I'd say that for anywhere in the Medina.
