“Great time!”

This Riad is the ultimate calm in a busy, bustling city. The staff are friendly and attentive, food (we only had breakfast there) was delicious, and location/proximity to the Souks was excellent. Highly recommend. We stayed in the tent-style room which was luxurious and comfortable.

From the moment we arrived after the hectic airport then the transfer we entered a calm relaxed beautiful hotel.We were greeted like friends and were given a history of the building and told that whilst staying we were to treat it as our own home . We were given mint tea and homemade biscuits and it was just perfect. Everyone was so kind and attentive . Our room was beautiful ,decorated with rose petals and flowers and facilities were great , the rainfall shower , towels , robes , slippers made us feel at home , and the best thing no tv ! .They asked if we wanted to eat at the hotel that night and after asking what we didn’t like and asking what time we wanted to eat that was it . We ate downstairs around the small central pool and as the food came out they explained what it was and how it was prepared, the starter was 2 traditional dips with warm bread , omg sooo good, then a traditional tagine with chicken that just fell apart , for desert a chocolate mousse. We had no idea what was coming no menu to pick from just wonderful homemade food that tasted out of this world. Next morning we took breakfast on the terrace upstairs, yogurt, cake , pancakes, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, coffee. We stayed for 4 nights and had another evening meal on the last night which once again was a mystery until beautiful food arrived freshly cooked . We also had the couples Haman and massage whilst there which was great, so relaxing and the rooms they used are perfect with relaxing music , candles , so peaceful. This place made such an amazing impression on both of us and we will go back, it really was the best place to stay , everything had been done to make your stay memorable. I could literally go on and on about it but go see for yourself, this is a very special place that will be almost impossible to beat

I stayed for 5 nights. First, let me say that Nour and team deliver superb customer service. Nour patiently answered all my questions and arranged transportation. The hotel is decorated in traditional Moroccan style and is beautiful and clean. Location is great, near the Bahia Palace and a good ATM machine inside the medina, near the parking area. They cook a very delicious breakfast and will serve dinner- which is one of the best meals I had in Morocco. I will say that if you are sensitive to noise, you may hear some from the kitchen in your room. You will not hear traffic noise because there are no outward facing windows in a riad.

Everything about our stay at Riad Melhoun was absolutely first class. From the private and friendly airport transfer, we were whisked straight to the venue which is located right near Jemaa el-Fna. The atmosphere is so relaxed, the food was incredible from the hearty breakfasts on the sunshine drenched terrace, to the lovely daytime snacks and the three course evening meals. Our room was very spacious with lovely ornate intricate decor. Everything was so very clean and quiet. A perfect place for an idyllic honeymoon! All of the staff were amazing, they could not do enough for you - we were treated like royalty for our entire stay. We could not recommend this place enough. We also took advantage of the spa and hammam for a couples’ massage which was fabulous and you also have to jump in the lovely and cool downstairs swimming pool and the heated jacuzzi upstairs!
