Riad O2 is a wonderful place to stay. The team is so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are exquisitely done in true Moroccan style, and cool despite the heat. The breakfast is delicious with the gurgling of the petal filled fountain and the chirping of the birds. We had an amazing full hammam experience with massage… and such good value! Their lovely driver really made our stay showing us all the best tourist spots as well as places where no tourists go… we got to see the real Morocco. Really this is the place to stay in Marrakech. Highly recommendable for groups of up to 10.

“I wouldn't stay anywhere else”

I stayed at this beautiful Riad with 5 friends. We had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to go back. I was very surprised to read the few negative reviews here. Especially when our experience was the exact opposite and seamless. Upon arrival, the one thing that made this so easy for us is we listened to the suggestions that were given us. Before our stay, we were in contact with Annette, Marie & Hugues who explained, in great detail, how to make our stay an enjoyable one. This includes the best way to get to the Riad initially without getting lost. When the owner of the property tells you that the place can be difficult to find, you listen. We followed their recommendations, and everything went exactly as they said it would. So, thank you for being so thorough. Hicham - We would have been lost without him. He picked us up directly from the airport, arranged for our luggage to be taken to the Riad and walked us directly to the door. It’s a bit of a maze so his presence was necessary and welcome. He also drove us to all our excursion as well as anywhere else we wanted to go. Besides, he is just a great guide and a friendly person. He is also a tremendous help when you are not in the mood to negotiate prices with shop owners. Way to have my back with the bracelets Hicham! Thank you! Rachida & Rachida - We ate almost every meal at the Riad. It was so good that we did not want to go anywhere else. The few times we did we spent the whole time comparing the food to the Rachidas. The Rachidas won every time. On top of this they kept our rooms spotless, let me hover in the kitchen to watch them cook and never EVER let their smiles drop. I’m convinced these women can do no wrong and if anyone has had a bad experience with the Rashidas then it’s their own fault. These ladies are excellent! Hassan – Your sense of humor is a treasure and (even though we all had to use Google translate and interpretive dance to communicate) it was fun. Thank you for your patience and for every set of stairs you had to run up and down in order to make sure we had wine, water, olives or anything else on the roof. Moad – Priceless. On our first night there, a few of us wanted to explore the area around the Riad (to learn the layout). The sun had gone down though and so Moad suggested he accompany us until we were comfortable. He walked us back and forth to the main area so we could pinpoint landmarks that would lead us through when we were alone. We even got a quiz at the end! Later in the week, when I got separated from a friend in the Square, I returned to the Riad to enlist help. Moad helped me locate my friend, escorted me to her location and then back to the Riad. He checked up on us regularly simply to ask if there was anything we needed, if we enjoyed our dinner, enjoyed our day or if we needed help planning the next day. I can’t say enough about this wonderful man. He had everything covered and was a huge part of our vacation success. Thank you for everything. Needless to say, our stay was amazing, and the staff was incredible! They made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. We were sad to leave. It felt like leaving behind good friends. I don’t think our vacation would have been the same without them there to take such good care of us. I would take them all home if I could. A huge thank you to all of you. Monica and Friends

“Moad ”

Myself and my partner took a trip to Marrakech as our end of summer break from Ireland. Myself and my partner took a trip to Marrakech as our end of summer break from Ireland. The riad is beautiful and very relaxing but, this post is to give Moad the recognition he needs as a beautiful person number one and as an unbelievable manager number two. This is what customer service and care is all about and we were just overwhelmed by his kindness and concern. Unfortunately, my asthma got bad in the riad which is a very scary experience. Moad himself (the manager) was not working, he was called by other staff as they didn't speak English. We needed to get to a hospital but were scared in a different country. There was no taxis available at this time and Moad, on his day off came to the riad to pick us up and drop us, he came in to the hospital and made sure we were safe and comfortable. He passed over his number and came back and collected us to make sure we were okay. That was after 10pm. He had his daughter with him and should have been spending family time with her but still came back to collect us. He would not accept money! He genuinely just wanted us to be safe! I cant thank Moad enough for his genuine kindness and making us feel safe in a scary time. He is a credit to the Riad and should be treasured. Thanks for everything Moad.
