Villa Lavande is a wonderful way to spoil yourselves in Marrakech. You get secluded special treatment by a dedicated staff that looks after only a tiny group of guests. We still had access to the larger hotel facilities but the exclusive Lavande sits in its own private space where we had five star treatment and attention from a very warm group of staff fussing over every whim we had whether it was early breakfast, organising drivers, making coffee or whatever we needed. I loved this beautiful place.

“Comfortable Riad and convenient location”

We stayed in December ,travelled as family of 4. Selected this Riad on the basis of it very convenient location and yet away from the hustle and bustle of Jama el f'na market. We stayed in December ,travelled as family of 4. Selected this Riad on the basis of it very convenient location and yet away from the hustle and bustle of Jama el f'na market. Our Riad was a villa with 2 rooms upstairs which were comfortable, modern and clean. the living area and kitchen/dining room is downstairs. The staff are very courteous and halpful. They prepare the breakfast fresh.The rooms are serviced daily. The proximity to the Medina is a very plus point. Awane and the staff including the night staff were very gracious and send a personal video of gratitude.Will recommend.

We booked this place through American Express travel approximately 2 months in advance and received our written confirmation When we arrived they did no have a room for us! Their solution was to put us up in a dirty 3 star hotel ( not a riad) approximately 1 km further out of town which was horrible and nowhere near the Medina After complaining we were transferred back to Riad lavende for the last night We stayed there for a total of 20 hours ( original booking was 3 days) Villa Riad is a beautiful Riad within another complex it is right near the main entrance of the Medina Bitterly disappointed that we wasted so much of our stay in such an aweful hotel and transferring back and forth between hotels 2 pieces of advice would be to ring the hotel before you go and check you are still booked in 2nd piece of advice is to write down the full address of the hotel ( including the name of the hotel complex in which it is located) Our taxi driver took over an hour to find the Riad -a street name is not adequate The Riad management said they had been trying to contact us to notify us of problem but we had received no such email Contact ( our original booking email had not changed throughout) Super disappointed at our experience however if you do no have booking issues I would have highly recommended the place because the actual accommodation is truly lovely 3 days ago Riad lavande sent us a message with an attached voucher for 250 euro to stay in the hotel in the next 12 months Clearly we are from Australia and have no plans to go back to Marrakech in the next 12 months so the voucher has no value to us We will be contacting American Express when I return home to make a formal complaint
