All in all a good resort and we enjoyed our weeks stay here over Easter. Beautiful, verdant grounds and riad style lobby and accommodation. Very attractive layout down a central avenue lined with palms and orange trees. Our family room was very spacious, clean and comfortable beds, with two rooms and two balconies. Nice and quiet at night, but a lack of storage space and some basic maintenance is needed. Lots of food choices with very good Moroccan, fresh pizza, great desserts (meringues every day) lovely fresh breads and pastries, pancakes (and chocolate fountain!) and omelettes at breakfast, although you have to be patience for the latter. Great fresh doughnuts (or similar) and waffles late afternoon tea time. A bigger selection of drinks included in the all inclusive would be welcome, but the wine and beer are good, and gin & vodka are passable. The lovely lady at the pool bar would often have daily specials eg sangria. Pool is great, very big and warm, but the poolside needs resurfacing… I’m unsure why the hotel is starting the season without this being undertaken… the managers/ owners need to think about investing in their hotel. 30 mins into Marrakesh centre -either shuttle or a taxi is about £12 (150 Dirhams). Slightly in the sticks but we purposefully opted for a peaceful setting and resort style hotel.

“Very nice and helpful staff”

Got transferred here from sister hotel which was of poor quality. This however is what you would expect clean well maintained rooms, helpful and attentive staff with good plentiful food choices. I would come back to this hotel

We booked this hotel, alongside our family, who were on separate bookings. When we checked in, we payed tourist tax and were told to go to the over 18, adults only hotel, madina family resort.. we didn’t want to buy we were forced and intimidated to. If you are in this situation, please refuse and speak to your provider as the madina is absolutely vile, this hotel was much better in standards. We spent most of our time in this hotel as it was quieter than the sister hotel and where our family were. The food was okay, nor much choice but the pizza and Omlet station was really good. Sometimes they would run out of glasses though and you would have to wait. The staff at the pool bar were friendly, the female member of Staff was lovely, but the staff in the main bar were cold, unhelpful and would serve the French off menu drinks but no one else. The WiFi varies a lot, so be careful. The hotel does attract less favourable British crowds, at one point I thought what in the universal credit is going on, when low IQ drunks expected everyone else to watch their kids, not to hotels fault but it is the crowd that was drawn. There’s no shower facilities after check out but we used the outside pool showers before our transfer. The shuttle bus is a really good service provided by the hotel for 1.60 to Marrakesh and back. The animation staff seems great with kids and really made an effort with them, even though some people were expecting them to babysit. This hotel is much better than the sister hotel, so please refuse to be moved to this hotel.

We had private car from airport, a 40 minute approximate drive. We went for lunch, as our room wasn’t ready. Even after lunch, we had a long wait.in our room, the toilet roll holder was broken, the shower trickled warm water maximum, the French door to veranda had been forced and broken, so didn’t lock. After two nights of thunder storms, the floor flooded! We had carpenter ants coming into the toilet from the front door, so light had to be left on. And lastly, the tv remote stopped working, and no one came to repair it! The buffet restaurant started well, but by the end of the week, it wasn’t so good. The over 18 pool was a haven, compared to the noisy main pool. I used the gym each morning using one of the three treadmills, two of which didn’t work. Needless to say, we will not be visiting this resort again.
