Paradis Plage Hotel is an oasis of people that want to be happy and have fun. The rooms were nice and big, the location of the hotel is unparalleled given it wasn’t surrounded by other hotels, you had a chance to be alone while being amongst locals. What made it stand apart was the service… so many people to thank, and apologies to those whose names I forget… Nabil at reservations was super patient and sorted us out. Waleed at reception. Your bright smile made us feel welcome from the first moment. Great can do attitude. Bassema (chef), Aziz (restaurant manager), Mustapha (chef) and Alamo were second to none in understanding and caring for my daughter’s gluten allergy. Thank you! As well as all the waiters that paid special attention to her including both Hassan and Hassan, Mohammed, Abdullah and my memory is failing me as they were many more. Housekeeping was great too. We had two ladies that were very special and Fatine in the kids club was very maternal. My daughter loved visiting her which was a first as normally they stick to me. Finally but not least of all, we will be returning because of the incredible time we had surfing with the exceptional surf team. We all LOVED surfing in Taghazout: Ismael, on our first day at the hotel we were finding our way and came to you. You taught us all to stand on the balance board and helped patiently and kindly while we grew our balance, thanks to you. You have surrounded yourself with a great team. Thank you for making surfing fun, for encouraging me to tackle bigger waves and for being the constant force behind the surf team. Thank you for the lessons, surf boards, wetsuits and boogie boards which made this trip so special and for keeping such a clean and well run surf school. Thank you for letting my kids come to your surf school and feeling at home away from home. The memories we made with you and the team are priceless. Hisham, my kids fell in love with you and the sport. You helped them, taught them and most of all made them have fun, which develops a true love of any sport. They left this trip thinking you are their best friend :) Luz especially. You even played ping pong with them! Thank you! Amin, thank you for teaching me to get on the board and building confidence. As well as for connecting with Leo! Thank you for teaching us so much. Mohammed, my other kids loved surfing with you. Thank you. They are very impressed with your balance skills. Ibrahim, thank you for encouraging us and for all the amazing pushes when my arms gave out! Thank you for understanding our love of the water and for letting us come in and out with boogie boards.

“Fitness and beach holiday in excellent resort.”

I came for a fitness holiday. Hotel and staff were fantastic. Highly recommend for rest, sun, beach, food, spa and it was so welcoming.

The hotel location is perfect. The grounds are stunning and the sunsets viewed from the beach bar (with a cocktail) are beautiful. Our room was the junior suite and was large, airy, well equipped and spotless. The food at breakfast and in the bars for the rest of the day was excellent (especially the fish which was landed less than 200 yards from the hotel on a daily basis). The hotel atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, there is an unofficially adopted pack of cats and dogs living in the grounds, all the staff and most of the guests indulge them!! But the most outstanding characteristic of this excellent hotel is (are?) the staff. Not sure if they are consumate professionals or just naturally gifted....but every one of them makes you feel really valued. To Hassan, Mohamed, Hamid and all the staff, thank you so much for a fabulous holiday.

Had a lovely relaxing stay at Paradise Plage. The stunning location, well kept grounds, rooms (I had a junior suite which was so spacious), food and staff were all great. We had a wellness package with spa treatments and yoga included. The massages were very relaxing ( though we were disappointed to be told that the Hammam was not working). The yoga was amazing - Karstan really is such an excellent teacher - so attentive. The yoga room has a beautiful spot right near the beach - you couldn’t ask for a better location. There were a number of cats and dogs in the area, and I had read in previous reviews that the resort welcomed them. They were all very gentle and friendly, and it was so lovely having them around. But i immediately got the feeling that they were considered a bit of a hindrance. Has something changed I wonder ? I do feel so very sad about that, as Paradis Plage is marketed as an Eco resort, so I expected different. Of course I understand it’s not ideal if an animal comes into a restaurant begging for food. My suggestion would be for the resort to have a feeding station for the animals, in an area away from the restaurants, that they come to know - and then they wouldn’t be so desperate for food. Also, it would be good to hear that the resort is collaborating with local animal welfare organizations- MAA and SARA Morocco - to ensure their animal community stays healthy. This to me should be all part of the Eco ethos, and I would love to see the animals living in harmony with the guests and staff. I really do hope the resort does focus on the yoga, surf, spa, environment and animals aspect and does not let the whole commercial package holidays take over. As I feel this would take away Paradis Plage’s whole identity - we have plenty of all inclusive holidays on offer if that is what we want - and I feel we need more eco wellness resorts in this day and age !
