We chose Odyssee Park Hotel because we were looking for an economical holiday for our family of 12. I had some concerns before booking after reading reviews mentioning issues with the hotel’s infrastructure, staff, hygiene, old furniture, and the quality of the meals. Upon arrival, I found the hotel conditions to be fairly acceptable. The air conditioning and elevator worked well, which was very important for us. The furniture is indeed a bit old and could use some renovation, but it wasn’t a major problem. However, the towels provided could definitely be improved—some were stained and had holes, which shouldn’t happen. The staff were very helpful and friendly, although some didn’t speak English well. Breakfast and dinner were pleasant, with a decent variety and mostly Moroccan cuisine, especially at dinner. One thing to note is that drinks were not included during dinner, which I wish had been made clearer beforehand. Also, there were several occasions when popular drinks like Coca-Cola and bottled water weren’t available, forcing us to get drinks from our rooms. The pool area is nice, but the music was quite loud, making it hard to relax or even have a conversation. The beach is conveniently close to the hotel, which is a big plus. Overall, the hotel has some shortcomings. I wouldn’t rate it as a 4-star hotel but more like 3 stars. It’s ideal for budget-friendly family vacations if you’re not expecting luxury.

Very reasonably priced hotel in a great location near beach and opposite airport bus stop. Large rooms and bathrooms, lovely garden. Breakfast was plentiful. Rooms and public areas very clean. Had a bit of an issue on first night as our allocated room wasn’t the one we had booked and paid for via Booking.com. We had booked the standard room which clearly stated it had a balcony however the room we were put in did not have a balcony. Receptionists instead that standard rooms do not have balconies and that they couldn’t move us until the next day and there’d be a charge for a room with a balcony (despite rooms being available to book on Booking.com.) The room was at the front of the hotel with loud music from the nightclub below going on until at least 1.30am. Fortunately the lovely receptionist who was on in the morning moved us to a room at the side of the hotel with a balcony for no extra charge. She was lovely and really helpful. Apart from that initial issue we had a great stay. The cleaner on Floor 1 was so lovely and hard working. As others have said the rooms are not perfect, chipped paint on skirting board, stained sealant around bath BUT if you want perfection there are plenty of more expensive hotels to choose from. For the price you pay here I think the standard is fine, everywhere is clean and the location is really good. Just avoid the rooms at the front above the nightclub!
