Situated just at a 7-minute walk from the town’s square and surrounded by beautiful shops as well as local cuisine restaurant and shops. I stayed in a suite with private terrace and the views were incredible. The breakfast is really good and served anywhere of your choice within the communal areas. The staff are kind and helpful, specially Ibrahim who will look after you until the last minute of your stay. I had the chance to sneak into other rooms and they’re one more beautiful than than the other one. I will definitely be back and have already recommended it to all my close friends.

“Central location, comfy room”

This riad is just off the main pedestrian street of Chefchaouen so it is very convenient, was pretty easy to find the first time too. The staircase right outside also offers a nice photo opportunity. This riad is just off the main pedestrian street of Chefchaouen so it is very convenient, was pretty easy to find the first time too. The staircase right outside also offers a nice photo opportunity. We stayed in a duplex room so it was very spacious, the air-con was also strong and much needed. Only gripe would be with the lock and door of the room which felt awfully flimsy, push hard enough and it would open without needing the key.

“Choose another place.”

This locations looks very nice for pictures, not to stay here. The rooms are tiny and with the smell of mold. We stayed in suite Rkia. The bathroom doors are not closing, no privacy at all. This locations looks very nice for pictures, not to stay here. The rooms are tiny and with the smell of mold. We stayed in suite Rkia. The bathroom doors are not closing, no privacy at all. The beds were uncomfortable, very hard, the towels were greyish and a stained curtain was at the shower. I have allergies and I woke up the first morning with my face swallowed. For dinner we had to go in another building. We stayed on a rooftop terrace, where 2 tables were placed. I felt like when I was student . They literally brought the food from outside, in 2 bags, and offered it after they put it on the plates in a kitchen. It was tasty and that was a good point. The next morning we were supposed to have breakfast at 8,30, no one was there. In a few minutes a very nice lady came out, asked us if we want to eat and in 20 munutes the breakfast was ready. For 3 people we had 3 eggs, 3 corn breads, 3 fried in oil breadlike, some olives and about 50 g of cheese. Honey and jam was offered but nothing to eat it with. The coffee was poor. The tea was good and the fresh squeezed orange juice was also good. So, of you are on budget, go here, otherwise it can ruin your experience.

This Riad was not by choice. Because of an error on our Riad of choice we were hastily accomodated to this riad. It is on a steep climb in the middle of much action. The room we got had 2 floors with a third being a magnificent private terrace. As quirky as this place was, it did fail when it came to general cleanliness and maintenance. The room had very dirty floors and the bed sheets had multiple stains. The one small tiny bathroom was obviously not cleaned prior to check in with urine stains on the toilet seat and floor. Although staff tried to help, we were left to use our own wet wipes/antibacterial supplies to clean the toilet/shower. We had no bath towels nor any shampoos or gels. When we asked the one staff member hurriedly tried to get supplies from other rooms which were clearly half used! At the time we checked in and after a long trip we saw no point in complaining. The redemption came in the morning when the staff prepped our breakfast in our beautiful outdoor private terrace. Breakfast was by far the most fantastic we had in the 8 days we spent in Morocco. Everything was fresh and very very tasty. This riad does have some serious potential if they only took time to clean and upkeep a bit more and pay attention to details in the rooms as the location is great.
