We were there 3 days.We found excellent sevice among many requirements in hotel when we had new year dinner at new year night.We could watch some program in dinner party.But , No one announed in advanve about program at new year dinner, Damn.But , we saw one neat and tidy person who was in western dress on the way to restaurant.He explained us detail about new year dinner program.We were very thankful him.He told us that he had been there just couple of month.and he is a resident manager.He is very kind and smart person.Staffs were very friendly.

“3 Days of stay”

I stayed for 3 days in November 2018 in a hut at the seafront with a fantastic view onto the sea. The main room was colonial style and very big. The first 15 m of sand was very clean, afterwards you occasionally could see little dead fish from the fishermen of the nearby village, as well as a lot of plastic garbage. The environment is disregarded as in other parts of Asia. The Asian breakfast was great. However, I never saw the menue for the evening diner. So I do not know what they offered. There were quite a few of unfriendly Chinese guests . The hotel staff was very friendly, their service really excellent and very helpful. The internet was really slow and broke down very often.

“Not the best place we stayed ”

My first 3 star rating , I will start with the room which was very clean with facilities and kept clean by the staff who were very friendly . Loungers on the beach a nice location .. but then the fun started . Some sort of kids ( teenage ) gathering from the hotel around 100 or so playing games with the main man and his MEGAPHONE playing a big part in everyone’s relaxing ( ye right ) on the beach it just didn’t stop from morning to night , so I had a wander down the beach to the fish market ( worth a look first thing ) then we spent the day at another hotel down the beach and had lunch their too ( art of sand ) but that’s another review ( check it out ) . We had plans for evening meal at diamond nagpali to see how the food was but when we came down to eat the kids had come off the beach and into the pool taking over the outdoor food seating area splashing pool water over all the tables which were set up for evening meals and making so much noise we just had no intention of eating there in the end so we went back to art of sands for our evening meal and pushed the boat out , diamond nagpali needs to take a tip from other hotels in the area around the pool side too . They have sandstone flags down ( non slip ) but diamond nagpali is leaving themselves wide open with glossy tiles that become like ice when they get wet and several times I saw people almost go because of these tiles . If I went back to this area this hotel would be bypassed which is a shame .

I know, Ngapali area is expensive for hotel rather than any other place in Burma. But i was get a bad experience. Stay for 3 days with drama. 1 st day bathroom had problem with the water. I know, Ngapali area is expensive for hotel rather than any other place in Burma. But i was get a bad experience. Stay for 3 days with drama. 1 st day bathroom had problem with the water. No water, we need take shower after flight. Yes after 30 min wait, staff fixed it well. 2nd day my bathroom just floody because the water outlet didn't work. I try to speak with receptionist and she just said wait for the maintenance team come and fixed your problem. They came after 1 hour waiting, fix it and problem solved. In the last day it happen again , i was mad with the reception because she is not polite answer my question so i asked my husband (speak in burmesse ) to complain. Well.. if you guys ask for better room maybe not stay in this room type. It is holiday season so we don't have any choice. Asked for a clean towel before check in.
