“Great place with amazing hospitality!”
Hotel is nice and located in the heart of the city. Rooms are very comfortable. The garden in the back is one of the most lovely places in Kathmandu. “Must visit ”
Staff was very polite and gentle. Always ready to help. Great food and great service. Clean , organised and comfy environment. If in kathmandu u must stay in Shangri-La you won't regret it. Also have fast wifi service .

“An unusual invitation”

“Not what it seems”
The hotel is not part of the International ShangriLa Chain. The rooms are dated. Our air conditioning (HVAC) did not work. After three requests to repair we were told to open a window and they would get us a fan. The fan never came. Front desk staff seem intimidated and unaccommodating.
