“Good value for money ”

Reception/Concierge was pretty abrupt, but other staff were helpful. Food was good. Polynesian show & seafood buffet at attached restaurant were great. Rooms were nice & views or Anse Vata were great from the 7th floor - recommended for couples.

I stayed at Nouvata Hotel for 1 week from 26 December to 2 January. My Air New Zealand flight arrived early and it was a while before check-in opened. I was able to leave my luggage in a room and check in later on. When I went to check-in, the room still wasn't ready, so it was a little frustrating having to wait extra time to check-in. Great location, right by the beach, shops and restaurants. The room itself had a great view. There was a fridge and some cutlery provided. Bed was alright, not amazing but comfortable enough. The air conditioning stopped working on my floor one night, they let me have a different room until they got the repairs done the following day. I could hear some noise from the other rooms. Pool was good, although it was crowded and not enough seats / sunloungers all the time. Wifi worked well. Tropical gardens with lots of nice flowers around was nice. The hotel looks a bit tired and dated. I could notice paint peeling off and rooms could just do with a bit of a freshen up to give a more modern feel to it. On New Years Eve there was a cultural dance show which was lively and fun. Overall, the hotel was a mixed bag of both good and bad features and I would give it s 3 star average rating.

The hotel is part of the Hilton group and it’s the budget baby of their chain. I stayed in their budget rooms off site. I would say in summary it is exactly what you paid for. I was happy with it overall. Right on the beach, and close to shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and air conditioning worked great. I was out and about every day so this suited me fine. No bells and whistles. The only disappointment was the pool area is neglected with it not heated (the water was freezing) and no bar area. As the beaches are currently closed a lot more people would have liked to use the pool areas. I never used any facilities otherwise expect my room and was off site the whole time. Check in process wasn’t great as it was strict 3pm check in and my room wasn’t ready until after 4pm and I was extremely tired after getting in at 11 and being out all day. So be aware if you want to check in somewhere early, there is little flexibility. I had to sit in lobby for ages waiting. Staff spoke many languages.
