Though this motel is at walking distance from CHC downtown, it is very quiet. We had a two bedrooms unit, plus bathroom, kitchen and living room. The space of kitchen and living room was impressive. The Admiral is located in a motel heavy strip in Bealey Ave in Christchurch and I would guess that this is in the middle of the pack quality-wise. Very disappointing. Shown to unit and it stunk inside of cigarette smoke. Tried to get smell out by throwing open windows. Lack of attention to detail. Staff were super welcoming and very helpful with the check-in especially as I'd arrived slightly earlier than check-in time. Rooms were a decent size.
