“Recommended”
This is a lovely place and needed more than a night stay to fully enjoy the facilities. Go for a long walk, pop to the supermarket over the road. Buy a decent bottle of wine and cook a nice meal and enjoy the night sky.

“Expensive resort town hotel”
You should expect to pay resort town prices here. This was my most expensive night in New Zealand and also the tiniest room— the bed filled the entire room with no space for even a single chair.
