“Great location, better than expected”
Fantastic location, short walk to the lakeside, church, restaurants. The only thing, and it seems common to hotels in Tekapo is there are no net curtains on the windows. We could see into everyone else's room, it was like Hitchcock's "Rear Window". Otherwise a great place to stop for the night.

“Good place to stay if wanting easy access to the observatories”
This is an easy-to-locate hotel. It is a large complex with varied types of accommodation. I stayed in a small double-bedded room with fridge, kettle, iron and ironing board plus decent little bathroom. “Don't book breakfast”
Good location and lovely self catering apartment. We had paid for breakfast but wish we had not. Only went once as food very poor. We would advise anyone going here not to bother with breakfast. Washing machine and dryer available on site foc.

“Needs update”
Big rooms but scrappy condition. I hate two small beds put together as pretend double.
