“Hands down the BEST accommodation in Gisborne.”
I recently travelled to Gisborne for business and have nothing but good things to say about Motel Oasis. - The staff are incredibly helpful and SO nice. - The rooms are clean, tidy, quiet, warm and tasteful. - The motel is quiet and a mere 5 minutes from Gisborne city. Our group of 10 stayed here for 4 nights. A little out of the city but no drama. Great rooms. Good beds. Wonderful staff - so friendly and ready to help with any need. “tried and enjoyed our stay”
very surprised how nice this little bit out of town motel was. very quiet, clean and tidy rooms and great helpful staff, didn't try pool but looked well maintained comfy bed and good shower. would definitely stay here again.

“Just book an airbnb instead”
I don't think it's worth the money at all. Room is a bit dated. Fridge wasn't working for a day as it was switched off. Cleaners switch off every single socket when they clean the room, so that I couldn't use the jets at all. For 250nzd per night it's not acceptable. Pool could be cleaned as well a… more
