This motel is everything you need for a great stay. The location is perfect, just across the street from the beach and walking distance to everything in Paihia. There's a lovely balcony with chairs and a table that looks right out over the bay. The room is spacious and has a mini fridge, which really helps. Everything was clean and kept clean throughout the stay. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, especially at check out and check in. The wifi was strong everywhere and the parking was free.

“Fabulous motel, self contained units, across the street from the beach! Walking distance to many restaurants!”

We had a large waterfront suite (room 14) on the second floor with a balcony facing both fauna,flora and the sea across the street. We had a large waterfront suite (room 14) on the second floor with a balcony facing both fauna,flora and the sea across the street. The self contained suite featured a dining table with 4 chairs, a fully equipped kitchenette with a stovetop, sink, plates, cutlery, pots, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee plunger, a pullout couch ( thankful that it was made up with sheets), 2 comfortable chairs,small coffee table, TV, sliding glass door to balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. The separate bedroom features a queen bed, TV, bedside tables. Sliding door to the same large balcony from the living room area. Cupboard with extra pillows (much appreciated), blankets, drawers and a separate entrance to the bathroom. The bathroom had heated towel rack, large but somewhat slippery shower, toilet, sink and hair dryer. There is an iron and ironing board in a cupboard off the living room. There were loads of electrical sockets in the bedroom, living room, dining area, kitchen and bathroom! Such a delight to find so many conveniently located! This compact comfortable room has all you would need for an extended stay. There is a shared BBQ and a guest laundry area with washer (2 x $2 per wash load) and 2 x $2 per 60 minutes per dryer load. I only had 3 complaints. The parking spot for our room was difficult to navigate with 2 larger cars parked on either side of our car. If we had had an SUV; all 3 vehicles would not have fit! And the upstairs rooms are situated on a huge hill and then you have to climb 14 steep stairs but I guess if you want a view; this is what you have to put up with! No king bed which given the beautiful room; I would have thought a king bed would be the norm. The room was very lovely! The proximity to town is good, only a 5-10 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk) and across the road from a beautiful beach! We’re very happy we stayed here and would highly recommend this motel!

“Definitely recommend”

Excellent motel. Amazing service and really clean. Rooms were cleaned and refreshed daily. We felt the person running it really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We miscalculated something and they were so kind in helping us sort it out. Many thanks. My only suggestion for others… more

We miscalculated something and they were so kind in helping us sort it out. Many thanks. My only suggestion for others is that if you think you’d like some quiet time in the evening with a drink and/or a game of cards, opt for the sea view as they have great balconies and stunning views at sun set. We didn’t have that but it was still ok as we had a table and chairs outside, plus went to the pier for a drink.
