“Winter deal”
Best winter stay deal in Martinborough! Super cozy villa with great views at an unbeatable rate, including free platter for 2, wine tasting, breakfast and a bottle of Margrain wine. Beat that. We arrived early and were made most welcome immediately.

“Lovely place to stay in Martinborough, close to wineries”
Stayed in the garden room at the gatekeepers cottage at Margrain Winery, next to the cafe and cellar door. Lovely big room with a deck looking out at the garden and across to the vineyard. Check-in office is down the road at the Villas when the cellar door is shut.

“Great spacious comfy stay”
Pleasantly surprised at the spacious room. Very comfortable. Had air con which was great in the heat. Continental breakfast (just let them know beforehand if need milk other than dairy) orange juice good selection of teas etc. lovely view to sit on balcony and drink wine of an evening. “Quite nice but needs a bit of an update”
We came here many years ago when it first opened, and again about 15 years ago. I remember the continental breakfast used to be fantastic, but this time it was very average with packaged cereal and punnets of diced fruit, and average sliced bread, cheap marmalade sachets etc. We have better breakf… more
