“Very comfortable and clean base for Canoe Safari”
We stayed here the night before our Whanganui River trip with Canoe Safaris. The room was quite spacious and comfortable, and everything was spotless. We were able to leave our car here while on the river. Made the 6.45 am start easy.

“Comfortable place to stay in Ohakune”
We stayed one night prior to a trip with Canoe Safaris on the Whanganui River. The lodge is conveniently located, comfortable and tidy and has everything you need. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This place is very unassuming. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but inside is great. It's spacious and well equipped. Beds, including sofa bed, was comfy. Water pressure nice and strong. “Welcome rest”
We stayed one night prior to a trip on the Whanganui with Canoe Safaris. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. There was a hot tub but we didn’t get round to it. Kirsten checked us in and gave us a rundown of Ohakune. I’d recommend it for a couple of days if exploring the area.
