In the foothills of the volcano, this is a quiet, well maintained hotel. We stayed in Powderhorn House, a three bedroom chalet but just for 2 of us! Good parking. “Comfortable”
Just a quick one night stay, It feels as if you are in an Alpine lodge with the wooden ceilings and construction. Really nice hotel. Good size rooms, very nice bar and restaurant area, lovely heated pool. Food in the evening was very tasty. Location is very good for hiking.

“Summer getaway”
The Powderhorn is the perfect spot for a National Park get away, we explored the many hikes during the day, on both sides of the mountain and then retuned to the balcony of our queen suite to enjoy the early evening sun. Great on site parking, easy check in and walking a few steps to get breakfast… more
