“Relaxed and comfortable with large garden”
We had a perfect stay in this lodge. Friendly owner. If needed they gave advise for outings. The rooms have everything you need. The breakfast is good, continental and cooked. The location is quiet with a large garden, close to visit Tongariro National Park.

“Clean and spacious apartment with cooking facilities”
We chose this motel as it is fairly close to the train station and we were arriving on the train and had no transport. “Excellently functional.”
Easy to locate, quiet as out of season, really well equipped kitchen area, nice hot shower, comfy bed and friendly staff and conveniently near facilities and Supermarket. We loved tramp up to Viaduct via Old Coach Road and watching sunset.

“Okay place to stay. Nice hot tub”
Very convenient for Tongariro. crossing. Kitchen not bad. We were going to stay at the Chateau but it closed just after we started our trip and we were moved to this hotel. Convenient for us. Hot tub welcome after we completed the crossing.
