“An Amazing Place to Stay in Rotorua”
Such a lovely place to stay - staff are super friendly and gave us plenty of recommendations. They have 3 thermal pools that you can use on site. Rooms are super clean and spacious, and great value for money. Highly recommended!

“Prefect relaxing hotel close to town”

“Most relaxing stay”
We had a relaxing stay at Aura for 4 nights towards the end of April 2026. We settled nicely in our room with Daisy's help. Got accustomed to her bright smile and earnest desire to make our stay an enjoyable one. Love the whole Aura team for great work done here.

Aura accommodation is not a hotel. It is a complex with many small suites arranged around a central area with a small hot pool in the middle. “Average for the price, but centrally located.”
Staff were friendly and enthusiastic, however that did not make up for this being a repurposed concrete block motel-type building from the 70s. For the price, it was not terribly inviting, with a grimy bathroom and the towel rack coming off the wall. It looks nicer in the pictures, than reality. … more
