“Quick overnighter for us.”

Nice spacious rooms, all we required. Nice & handy to town. Only issue was Room 106 was close to their lift. Could hear it in the night & early morning which made for a difficult sleep at one point.

“Great Location and Facilities”

We were in Wellington for a conference. We enjoy the one bedroom apartment, as it has lounge, dining, cooking and laundry facilities. Be perfect for a longer stay. Very good value for money and ground floor is on the heart of Lambton Quay - super convenient.

We spent three nights in the Adina. It’s very well-located, right in the middle of the city and so walkable. These aspects were the best of our stay. When we arrived the gentleman at reception (Billy, the acting duty manager) could not so much as greet us; he was on the phone, and did not acknowledge us as being there. When he finished about 10 minutes later, he then overlooked us for others who arrived after we did, and served them first. We could have not been made to feel more unwelcome. Finally, once we were able to check-in, Billy got us sorted. No comments, no nothing, except to confirm my credit card on file. I had to ask basic questions about check-out and wifi, and he was not forthcoming at all. For a first impression of the Adina, it was quite poor. While we were generally comfortable for our stay, and the one-room apartment had all that we needed, it was very dark and had no natural light. Situated on the second floor, it had a very poor outlook to the bowels of another building. The room was clean, albeit very dated. It could certainly benefit from a refurb. We appreciated fhe daily room service and changing the bins and bathroom towels. Would we stay here again? Very unlikely. There are other apartment accommodations within the vicinity that we’d try over coming back here.

Stayed here for one night as I was catching the ferry early the following morning and this hotel is less than a 10 minute drive from the terminal. There are a handful of parking spaces in front of the hotel reception but you are directed to park at a nearby multi-storey as the spaces appear to be reserved for people working in the building or for people with over-height vehicles that will not go in the multi-storey. The receptionist was welcoming when I arrived after a 4 hour drive from Napier. My room was on the 5th floor, the view was of other neighbouring buildings but I was not there for the view. It was very handy for the city centre as there was an exit from the hotel directly onto the main shopping street. My room had a King size bed, small kitchenette which was well equipped and a shower room. The kitchenette had a microwave and small hob, kettle and toaster. There was an iron in the wardrobe. Unfortunately the WiFi was quite unreliable and I had to call to have it reset. My room was clean but quite dated, it could do with a refresh, all the paintwork is quite faded. The shower room appears to have been refreshed fairly recently and the water pressure was quite good.
