“Shame we had to leave!”
We stayed at this B and B on our way from NZ to Hong Kong. We chose it because of its location by the beach and 6 mins. away from the airport. It is a beautiful house full of character, a real home from home in a peaceful location, perfect for anyone who wants a rest after a hectic touring holiday.… more

“Warm and cosy”
We stayed one night after flying into Wellington. We arrived late at night but had made easy arrangements to get into our accommodation. The room was really warm and cosy and the bed was super comfy. “B&B is now CLOSED!”
Booked a stay for last night (8th Oct), in July, only to turn up and be told they had closed in May… Would be nice if they’d updated their internet listings to reflect this… Now we’ve had to lodge a refund request through the booking site as full payment was taken in July - so we had no accomoda… more

“Nice view, strained reception”
A little out of the way if you are driving north from the ferry. The B&B is a gracious old home on the waterfront. Beds were comfortable although street noise was bothersome. Breakfast was a bright spot with a full English breakfast available if asked for. We got the same feeling as other reviewers… more
