“A Charming Lodge in Te Anau”
A charming and well situated lodging with lovely amenities. We were lucky enough to enjoy the 3-bedroom house, just across from the lodge. So quiet! We had our own washer/dryer. So convenient! Breakfast at the lodge is okay. Staff is wonderful and attentive. Loved the cookies!

“Full of character, comfortable, quirky!”
We spent 2 nights in the Mother Superior's room at Te Anau Lodge during our recent tour of the South Island. “Lovely old school B&B feel.”
We were in the Music Room which is the smallest room. To be honest, we found the size to be fine for a couple of night’s stay. “Delightful place to stay - full of character and charm”
An absolutely delightful place to stay! The entire lodge is full of character, with surprises around every corner, from a giant Buzzy Bee to a gypsy caravan or even a circus carousel. Fantastic “rustic” accommodation. Very quirky, loads of hospitality, great food and brilliant hosts. Like a step back in time to being in a catholic convent school.
