one of the nicest hotels on our 9 day group tour - a lovely hotel a bit far from anything else, but it was fine since we were on the bus and had limited time after touring all day. There is a nice supermarket nearby for all of your needs (takes credit card). If you're lucky to get a higher room, you will have a lovely view; I think the rooms that are below street level may be obstructed by neighborhood houses. The room is nicely furnished and I have to say, I liked having the desk behind the bed, making the room nicely sized and comfortable. The toiletries were quite nice. The breakfast had a nice selection of foods, both hot and cold

It was my first time in this hotel and in Skopje. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is situated in a perfect area (suburbs on a hill above the city), with excellent view to the city. The room was very pleasant and perfect equipped (including coffee-machine). The breakfast is worthy for a 4* hotel, but what we actually enjoyed is our lunch as soon we arrived the first day, and although we were all around the city and the near-by areas, we had a dinner another day, because the plates and the menu were really delicious. A big surprise was also the bar, which we enjoyed 2 nights. All the cocktails I know were on the list and we enjoyed also several tasteful sweets. There are about 5-7 open parking slots for the car, but also more places in a indoor parking. Congratulations to all the stuff for his gentleness and willingness. The stuff is a great advantage of this hotel. It is quiet easy to go to city center (about 1 km), but the way-back is a big difficult (uphill). The taxis we had used hadn't a stable tariff, they charged between 2,5 and 5€ (the last one tried to charge us 10€ , but after our reactions, he reduced it to 5€). So be careful with the drivers, as they don't use a taximeter. If you are by car it is advisable to visit the mountain (lifts from the parking area) and the valley of Matka.

“Good but could be better.”

This is a lovely Hotel and our room, though small, had great views over the City and too the mountains. The Hotel is some way from downtown and is an energetic walk both on the way down and back up. We preferred to walk but taxis are easily available. The food is really good, The service was good at breakfast and at lunch but was poor in the evening. One of our meals was dropped. Now these things happen but it was the way it was dealt with which fell short. The waiter apologised and brought my meal. I finished just as my Husband's meal arrived and my plate was whipped away even though he was still eating. And then that was it. No more contact. My Husband finished and was looking forward to a dessert but no one came to us. We sat there for a long tome unattended. In the end we left and went up to the till to pay. No further mention was made of the mistake which lead to the mis timing of the meals - at the very least we would have expected another apology as an acknowledgement of the awkwardness caused by us having to eat in relay. This was unfortunate but, as I say, these things happen. What I wish we had known before dining in the restaurant however was that it is a smoking restaurant with a great many people smoking not only cigarettes but also big cigars. This was extremely unpleasant for those of us no longer accustomed to smoking in eating establishments. Not the Hotel's fault but unfortunately there is a large dog very close by which barks loudly throughout the night. This disrupted our sleep.

The restaurant opens at 7:05 this is a big issue for business people who would rather open at 6:45 and close 14 minutes earlier. The staff are pleasant and the sky bar is very nice. Average hotel.
