Overall, this was a very good stay and we would gladly return. The bedsheets smelled and felt clean, but there were random speckles of black dots on them that could be removed. It was a small detail, but noticeable enough to affect the overall impression. The bathroom could also benefit from more hooks or hanging space for towels and clothes. That said, we booked a room for four adults and it was pleasantly spacious. There was sufficient seating, and it comfortably accommodated two large suitcases plus three smaller ones without feeling cramped. The breakfast was exceptional. There was a wide variety of options—from well-prepared hot dishes to marinated herring and smoked salmon. The selection of pastries was excellent, and beverages included Biola yogurt drinks, juices, and chocolate milk. Everything we tried was delicious and of high quality. There is also free laundry available on the 6th floor, which is a very useful perk for travelers on long journeys. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. “A very nice 3 stars hotel at the price of 4”

Good hotel in the center of Tromso. Very close to the harbor and the bus station. The breakfast was indeed amazing but the room facilities were not suitable for a 4 stars hotel. Nevertheless, the Northern Lights saved the stay.

“Great for a short break…”

Great location and great views of the mountains and city. Secure a room on the upper floors - 7 or 8 as street is noisy. Breakfast can be a bun fight - quality of food is good. Don’t waste your time on a Northern Lights bus trip - we saw them every evening from the hotel😎

Great hotel for a short stay in Tromso - very central location on the corner of the main street. The hotel was very comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good and varied (although I would advise going early to get a table!). Booked a standard twin room which was on the small side but fine for our 2 night stay. There was no tea or coffee in the room which could have been included. Otherwise good central hotel if visiting Tromso and price was reasonable.

Great location near the bus terminal and handy for shops. The breakfast was varied and very good quality. Staff were helpful. Advertsing that there is a gym is misleading as it is elsewhere and costs kr100 to use! Very poor! However the main drawback is the room size. We had a family room that was … more

Great location near the bus terminal and handy for shops. The breakfast was varied and very good quality. Staff were helpful. Advertsing that there is a gym is misleading as it is elsewhere and costs kr100 to use! Very poor! However the main drawback is the room size. We had a family room that was the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. It was claustrophobic and my 2 almost adult children had to sleep on bunk beds.
