All Inclusive Hotel Lohmann

“Excellent ski trip.”

Hotel Lohman is a wonderful place to stay and exceeds expectations on many levels. Great service great food and with the added benefit of having its own sports shop connected so you can plan your ski trip in one package. I would recommend to a friend.

Myself and my family had the absolute pleasure of staying at the hotel Lohmann last week 11 - 18th Jan 2026 and I have to say it was the most enjoyable stay. The accommodation was perfect with extremely spacious and comfortable rooms and from the moment we arrived the staff were incredible, really friendly and always happy to help. The location was also perfect for a ski trip as it was only about a 2 minute walk from the slopes at Hochfirst. The best thing though was the food...incredible breakfast both English and continental and the dinners were equally as delicious and plentiful, from braised beef cheek to venison casserole, pizzas and schnitzel the food was so good! Myself, my wife and my 3 children were so happy here and we would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you hotel Lohmann you made our trip perfect

We booked this hotel with crystal (a UK based ski holiday operator ) and the review is based around a ski holiday with half board. Overall I would have rated this hotel as a very good three star. If you have that in mind you won’t be disappointed( crystal fudged it, rating it as four triangles and if you are expecting 4 star you will probably be disappointed). Positives * The staff are all very helpful, friendly and attentive * Clean * Children’s play room and a slide for the children instead of one flight of stairs to floor U1. * No “put a card in the slot” for power in the room * Ski room is large and warm with boot warmers and internal hotel access and external access with your room key. There are no lockers it’s all communal. * There are hotel sledges that can be borrowed. * The ski hire shop is integral to the hotel and provided a efficient service and good equipment. * About a 5 minute flat walk to ski school and drag lift from where you ski down to a gondola * Beer and wine included with dinner * Children collected for lunch from ski school and taken back afterwards for afternoon lessons. * Afternoon tea / coffee and cake Odd bits * The hotel has a very odd layout. It’s a long thin hotel built into the mountain. Possibly the architect was on something when they came up with it and certainly the space hasn’t always been used most effectively. * There are mezzanine floors that aren’t served by the lift so you can end up dragging bags up and down flights of stairs. * Bar area is a bit limited. The hotel is set up to cater for families. We travelled as a family of three. Our room was an adequate size. There was a double bed and a double z bed which squeaked if you thought about moving while on it. There were hooks to hang coats and clothes up and the bathroom had a hot towel radiator that could be used for drying gloves. There was plenty of hot water in the shower (no bath). The room was cleaned daily. Breakfast and dinner is a buffet. The restaurant staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast had omelettes and fried eggs cooked to order and also waffles one day and pancakes the next. There was scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, beans as hot options and pastries, croissants, hams, cheese, overnight oats, fruit etc. There’s a coffee machine but be careful with cup sizes, you need to use the glasses for hot chocolate and some other drinks. There is a sign on the wall but it’s easily missed. Dinner had a choice of at least 3 main courses, a veggie option and a children’s menu every night. If you have fussy kids they might not like their advertised option e.g mini meat loaf in which case you can ask for a plate of plain pasta which they were happy to provide. There’s a different desert each night and a selection of ice cream and cheese. The buffet layout can feel a little cramped but we didn’t see anything run out. Ideally there would be pasta / sauce / chips available for kids every night but I think space prevents this. The lounge bar area is weak and feels a bit likes a corridor without enough space / tables. In the afternoon it encourages conversations between groups as you have to share tables but overall it isn’t ideal. We didn’t try the spa as it required subjecting other users to our naked bodies which wouldn’t have been pleasant for us or them. The closest ski lift and ski school is just behind the hockfirst hotel. You come out of the hotel turn left and have a flat 5 minute walk. You will need to cross the road and the quickest route is to walk through the hockfirst car park while marvelling at their outdoor pool. The ski bus also stops at the hockfirst. The centre is a five minute walk to the right as you you exit the hotel. You pass the “see you” restaurant just after the hotel which is a lunch option if collecting kids from ski school. Theres also mama mia near the hockfirst that has pizzas, burgers etc but it only has a few tables and only takes cash.
