I stayed with my mum and we had an amazing time. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, would go out of there way to make sure your requests were fulfilled. We arrived well before check in and they gave us a curtesy room to use, completely free of charge (amazing). We were also allowed to go for breakfast - fantastic after a long flight. Facilities There were plenty of sunbeds when we stayed, and no restrictions on towels. The beach was lovely, the sea very calm and relatively shallow so we thought ideal for kids. There were re-usable water bottles in the room and water fountains all around the hotel & grounds - amazing to see them trying to cut back on plastic. The rooms were clean, with lovely crisp bed linen which seemed to get ironed each day. Shower was warm and powerful. Gym was well equipped, especially for a hotel gym, a smith machine, free weights, benches, cardio machines and a cable with a separate Pilates style room. Squash and tennis courts both free to use and they provided racquets. There is a shuttle bus to take you to the Mosque & Mall (one trip) and Souk. During Ramadan these only went once a day so you went as a group but it did work fine for us Breakfast Breakfast buffet was great - hot station with the English classics (sausages, mushrooms, beans, hash browns etc) and also curries. You could 'order' freshly made food such as omelettes and dosa (highly recommended the dosa - they're vegan!). Huge range of pastries, breads, some salads, cereals, dried fruits and nuts and fresh fruit. The pre-prepared fruit was a bit disappointing - melon and tinned fruits (peaches, tinned mixed salad vibes) but there were more tropical fruits such as passionfruit and rambutan. I am vegan and left full each morning. They served coffee, which was nice but a automated machine rather than steam coffee machine. Dinner We stayed during Ramadan so dinner was the Iftkar buffet which was incredible. Amazing array of salads, live cooking stations, curries, breads, puddings, nuts and candied fruits. We are vegan so admittedly could eat less than half of the food available but the staff were very knowledgeable on what we could eat, guiding us around pointing it out. They made us dhal and thai curry for a main which were delicious - my only negative about this is having it repeatedly would be boring (we only ate here 4 nights). They mentioned on day 1 a tofu curry which never actually came about and I did email before going. So perhaps a different curry each night could have been offered. That being said, we still ate amazingly and we got it heavily discounted so certainly not complaining! Staff Some of the best hotel staff we have encountered. All were friendly, attentive and went out of their way, especially the restaurant staff. Thank you for making our stay so special. We would highly recommend, and if we came back to Muscat would certainly stay here

We arrived at 8.30am after a night flight and were delighted when the check in member of staff (sorry, didn’t note your name) was not only able to find us an available room but an amazing room with a terrace with panoramic views. The pools are scenic and beach area well equipped with beds and parasols. We recommend the Bedouin Delight - date ice cream with a small pan of espresso at the pool bar. We moved on after two nights but wished we had booked for longer. Highly recommend and thank you again for sorting a room so quickly.

“Good sea view”

Staying on April 15-21 in the room with sea view on the sixth floor. The rooms are only six floors, half of all rooms in the building are facing the sea and the other half is facing car park. Staying on April 15-21 in the room with sea view on the sixth floor. The rooms are only six floors, half of all rooms in the building are facing the sea and the other half is facing car park. The hotel building is old, but the bathroom area were refurbished. During the stay the double glass windows and door isolate the sound from the during weekend evening event near the pool area. Sleeping was good. During the stay, did not notice any changes in the restaurants breakfast menu. However the food quality was all good and staffs were very nice and helpful. Those were very pleasant breakfast experiences. Was impacted by the heavy rain in the region, the water from the balcony didn’t go out so flowed back in the room soaked the carpet. We didn’t move because we didn’t want to, the staffs took care of the carpet efficiently. The gym equipment were old but are of the highest quality and well maintained.

We stayed in The Hotel from April 06 till April 09, 2024, and it was a great vacation. The Hotel is clean, the breakfast is great with a lot of selections to choose from. The staff are all tentative especially Evelyn in the dining room. The welcome crew (Reem, Jasmine, Jamilah and Talal) at the reception of The Hotel were all professional, polite, very helpful, and they made our visit more enjoyable.
