I am so grateful to the staff of Haeinsa Condotel. I had last minute requests and changes that I needed to board my flight and Ms Jing, despite her being busy, helped me get it done! Thank you so much Ms Jing! All the staff I talked to were helpful and informative. The room I stayed in was clean and I had a good night's rest. I was alone but I got the room for a couple which I think is more spacious. I am glad I did. The area outside is quite busy (karaoke, street sounds) but it is not too loud with the windows closed. Wifi was fast. You can use the wifi for only 1 device. Since there was no telephone in my room, you can contact the staff via Facebook, text or e-mail for your requests. The bathroom was small and the toilet lid was old but there was good water pressure with hot water. Toothbrush, towels and small packs of shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper were also there when I arrived. You may need to ask for soap. You can bring food into the room but there is a restaurant in the first floor as well. No refrigerator, microwave in my basic room so you need to make sure to wrap your trash if you don't want insects to come. Big TV, cabinets for your clothes and things and mirrors were available. There was even a small table with 2 comfortable chairs. It is a good place to stay in if you want to save your pesos for the sights. All in all, a pleasant stay!

I'd like to be very objective for this hotel. The location is excellent as it is walking distance to some key bus stations to the northern part of the Philippines. It is located in a typical urban Filipino neighborhood. One might be able to see men drinking by the road side at night and children playing in the streets during the afternoon. But there is nothing to worry about because that is just normal and it is safe. They have a restaurant in the first floor that serves reasonably priced foods. However I don't like it that the published price in booking.com is 3591.00 but zen rooms charged me 4380.00 to be paid in the property. Another thing to note is that. Don't be fooled by the pictures. THERE IS NO MICROWAVE AND REFRIGERATOR IN THE ROOM. It's just a bed, a table, some chairs, slippers, toiletries, and decent sized bathroom. For its location and quality the price is reasonable. However, you don't get what you see online. So don't expect too much. Some redeeming factors are their WiFi which is really strong and their staff who were kind enough.
